The longtime Democrat has voiced support for Joe Biden and has emphasized the centrist needs to win the presidency not least to restore "the power of the American idea."

wow! Didn’t know Springsteen was such a war lover. Cuz that’s what you’re all gonna get if Biden and Company wins.

He's not. Have a listen to his back catalogue.

'Born In the U.S.A.' is an antiwar song that some jingoistic idiots are still too stupid to 'get'. Bruce covered the 1970 hit 'War' (another antiwar song) and his live version still gives my spine chills even now.

I just heard his new CD online, can't wait to get a copy. I've seen him live 4 times, each time better than the previous. Problem is, he is the HARDEST act to get tickets to see. Once C-19 is over he'll probably tour and I want to catch him for a 5th time, more if I'm lucky.

Actually, 3-4 of the tunes pre-date his first LP, Greetings. He found them while compiling material for another project and thought they'd stood the test of time, and that only the original band could play them. They've been part of his live set for decades.

Bruce is like Prince in that he's such a versatile writer. Like Prince he wrote over 1000 songs and has given a number of them away for artists to record and he gets royaltes. And like Prince, he's got songs in the vault to last the rest of the 21st century.

In 1999 when I saw him for the second time CBS wanted an album to promote for his big tour so he released the 4 CD box set 'Tracks' which is a conglomerate of B-sides, etc. And that collection doesn't even come close by a long shot to all he's got in the vaults.

And some of them have lasted the test of time for Bruce to rerecord and put out now.
