They actually have a commercial for Star Wars in Japan. I saw it yesterday, and it's going to be released in theaters the same time as US on Dec. 18th. Glad they won't make us wait to receive early spoilers.

I expect there will be a line in this movie even greater than "I find your lack of faith disturbing," lol.

"...the reboot of George Lucas’ sci-fi universe..."
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens is NOT a reboot. It is a continuation of the story told by the previous 6 movies. That makes it a sequel.

hopefully it will be way better than the last 3 woeful offerings in this franchise.

Writing posts about how much you dislike the Star Wars prequals is so cliche. This is going to be the biggest movie of all time. This movie is going to influence society going forward just as Star Wars has done for decades. Sitting back and dumping on it when you yourself have not accomplished anything is disrespectful and shows a lack of understanding of the cultural inluence that this film series has had.

Not only the latest Star Wars movies but most movies these days seem to be all about action and visuals so over-the-top they are completely silly. Next there are the cheap bravado one-liners, or else they are downright corny. And story-telling? Seems to be a lost art.
Its highly unlikely I will be seen a theater watching this, but I will probably rent it so that it won't cost me as much to just walk away if need be.
