New York's Broadway closed until at least January

Insurance agencies, parking lots, rehearsal studios, equipment rental agencies, restaurants and diners, vocal and dance coaches, costume designers, dry cleaners, janitorial crews, hotels, directors, producers and performers have been trying to hang on for the last four months.

This is the right thing to do, but for the many businesses and workers connected to Broadway the closure is a disaster.

Tragic.
