Huh, I'd forgotten that the "M" in MTV was for Music. Silly me...

Does she even know what those tattoos on her left shoulder say? They might be labelling her by some obscene epithet for all we know, and she may be embarrassing herself by that way and not even knowing it.

When I was a teen and hair metal was the thing (dating myself, I know) people said Ozzy, Motley and GNR et. al represented the downfall of Western civilization. They were mistaken.

Nikki represents the downfall of Western civilization.

It's not that she is black or a woman or that hip-hop (which isn't my thing but I am not cool either so...) is her chosen genre.

It's that she has no discernable talent of any kind. Try listening to Anaconda without the visuals. I triple-dog dare you. She has a large, possibly surgically "enhanced" posterior and nothing else.

Now to be fair, I really must point out that she is far from alone, even among the Vangard winners. J-lo can't sing but shakes said bottie a LOT. Madona was not famous for her voice but for taking her clothes off (until people started saying "LEAVE THEM ON!!!")

Britany, oh dear GOD where to even begin. Someone yesterday had a comedy platinum comment (gold wasn't valuable enough for that one) about auto tune.

But Nikki seems to be a particular type of one-trick pony in that she shakes and calls other women rude names in public. I am not a Hanna Montana fan either but that just wasn't nice.

I grew up with glam metal and there's still some that I like - Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Motley Crue. But they do have their own identical personas and are not cookie-cutter bands. Neither are Motorhead, RUSH, Genesis, U2, Ramones, Kool and the Gang or Duran Duran.

Yes, Duran Duran has the good videogenic looks, but their masterful videos and excellent MUSIC is what made the 'Fab Five', is why they're still around and why they're entering the R'n'R HOF this year. Looks and image are nothing with the talent. Will Nikki, Britney, Cardi B, Lady Caca, Hillary Duff, etc. be remembered fondly 15, 20, 30 years from now. I doubt it.

I find her vulgar and low, this is not entertainment anymore but outright porn.
