Disco isn't Rock and Roll and most of his contributions are in the Disco genre. If there's ever a Disco Hall of Fame, though, this guy is a shoo-in.

A legend. Pure and simple. Not sure what your musical taste is and how old you are, but that is the best way for me to describe him.
For someone who made such a mark starting back in the '70s to still be relevant today, producing songs with some of the best current artists, is a remarkable achievement.
Oh, and he puts on one heck of a good show. Yes, a lot of it is his old hits. But I would challenge anyone to go to one of his shows and not leave having had a Good Time.

You can say Disco is a waste of time but thanks to disco, several music was created like new wave and the electronic music genre... I can afirm that thanks to disco, current japanese music has it base.. for better and for worse..
