Nozomi Sasaki's beauty secret - living without stress

Model Nozomi Sasaki, 23, had some words of wisdom for the media when she attended this week's presentation of Nintendo's 3DS and DS game "Fab Style" for girls. The game is about a young girl who works in a fashion boutique and how she always stays true to herself and never gives up on her dreams in work and relationships.

Sasaki said her secret to keeping in good shape and staying happy is to live her life without stress. She added that she wants to become a woman who is beautiful on the inside.

she's like from a fairy-tale, a fantasy, her looks and what she says. i love japan, it's like living in another reality

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Thank you JT.

I wish to see more celebraties like her in Japan.

I wish she will go for a one time marriage and NO DIVORCE.

Let the future generations follow such kind of people....

Japan have future....

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

You are only 23 ...wait till you get older and see if you could avoid stress..?

10 ( +11 / -1 )

23 and giving advice on beauty?? Please. Give me someone like Sophia Loren over some 23 year old who still has time to grow up, deal with wrinkles and stress.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

She does have a point and I do agree with her, but a 23 year old single girl making pots of money and lecturing the ordinary minions on living a life without stress??! Yeah, right, shut up Nozomi.

12 ( +14 / -2 )

I'm guessing the game isn't a FPS then?

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

She's known as 'No Mercy' in the modelling world for bullying the plus sized models. Like most sociopaths, she can turn on the charm when required.

12 ( +13 / -1 )

@seesaw: She is very rich, I doubt she will have a stressful life in the future. :) but then again anything can happen.

@nicky: Actually she is dating a guy from Arashi. Not sure why I know that info hah.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

So, once she experiences some real stress, will she melt like a baachan left in the sun for too many summers?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

the other half of my brain living in this reality (not the fairy-tale world) has a different view: poor her, she'll stress to death about her love for lots of money

1 ( +1 / -0 )

eh, she lives in a cloud that a lot of people on the island live in.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Life without stress? Almost impossible, but as you get older you generaly gain enoigh experience to handle it. Looking youthfull, well I have laughter lines, wouldnt change them for the world. Proves I have laughed more then I ever cried

Nozomi Sasaki's beauty secret:

Drum roll...

Youth.

Ask her this same question after she's lived a little...

12 ( +12 / -0 )

The game is about a young girl who works in a fashion boutique and how she always stays true to herself and never gives up on her dreams in work and relationships.

You can do all that on the DS?!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Life advice from a vapid, brainless 23 year old? Yeh, I think I'm going to throw up my breakfast.

Nozomi Sasaki's beauty secret:

Youth.

And plastic surgery.

“Fab Style”

Nozomi-chan is only ab kaw... I guess Nitendo couldn't afford Joanna Lumley.

You are only 23 ...

It's 55 in model years. They start working at 12. Years ago, some started calling her "bachan" or "Nozo-baba" in her back, and politely listening to her oshare Madame advice. She thinks she has to speak like the kocho-sensei.

wait till you get older and see if you could avoid stress..?

A celeb doesn't get older, but botoxer.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

She is only able to say that because of her 'I'm a talento' lifestyle. She would soon change her mind is she was working 60+ hours a week as an OL in a male dominated office. Bye, bye happiness and hello stress.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

"Plastic surgery and botox is my method " I'm so kawaii. Yada yada yada

Beautiful on the inside ? Japan ? Are you kidding me ? Japan is all about the shallowness

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

When youre hawwwt, everything is catered for. But when you peak out, that's when youll see people for who they are.

But JT people are just jealous of your hawwtness.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

"nicky: Actually she is dating a guy from Arashi. Not sure why I know that info hah."

Does she have children who never sleep, a husband who never comes home and a supermarket she has to go to every day in between work, school drop offs and pick ups with the crappest overpriced food imaginable? Does she have to think about and take responsibility for at least 2 or 3 other peoples lives as well as her own? If not, then she is "single".

"But JT people are just jealous of your hawwtness."

Yeah, you are right, you got me there. Being butt ugly myself and not a (former) model it must be that I am just jealous. Couldnt possibly be that I think she is talking out of her backside!

6 ( +6 / -0 )

A very positive attitude, but merely wishful thinking for many, especially in a nation like Japan where stress is EVERYWHERE. That said, it IS important to find something you like to do, and hopefully people whom you like to do it with, and make sure you do it. Exercise and if possible some meditation also go a long way to getting rid of some stress. Needless to say, other lifestyle choices like diet and sleep are critical.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

So much bitterness on this thread! Funny.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

She is just 23. Put her on the list to be interviewed at 40. I bet she will be singing a different tune.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Sasaki said her secret to keeping in good shape and staying happy is to live her life without stress.

I never realized until today how readily attainable health and happiness is—just live life without stress. Simple yet profound.

Now, to achieve this positive state of mind and body all I have left to do is ditch my wife, children and job (and all other sources of stress and obligation in my life). Look out narcissistic bliss, here I come.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I just can't believe she can spew out this blithe nonsense with a straight face.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

In other words, clueless.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

How does one who lives in the real world avoid stress?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

...to live her life without stress.

it's an infantile comment, no doubt contrived by here advertising company handlers.

what are they trying to use her to market? stress free cosmetics? massages? yoga?

or are they just trying to encourage young women not to concern themselves with the world and its affairs because it will cause them to be less beautiful???

2 ( +2 / -0 )

So, once she experiences some real stress, will she melt like a baachan left in the sun for too many summers?

LOL. as Tokyo Gas said, Put her on the list to be interviewed at 40. I bet she will be singing a different tune..that is so right!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I read in some magazine that she causes lots of other talent/models a lot of stress. I guess she gives it away rather than keeping it herself.

Time for chicken soup. Fun to be back here, but busy. Ciao

2 ( +3 / -1 )

How can you live without stress? Stress is life. Unless she was born into a rich family, never had to worry about school or debt or rent, she would have had to be stressed about something. Hell, Japanese people stress more than anyone with the elementary, jr. high and high school entry exams, and then there is undergraduate studies.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

She is very rich, I doubt she will have a stressful life in the future. :) but then again anything can happen.

Giuliano: Stress is not the less rich people's problem only. Wait till this woman gets married having to shoo off those younger J women away from her husband...

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I also tell my wife, every single day, she's the most beautiful flower in the garden!!!

So there are other flowers?

Nozomi Sasaki's beauty secret - living without stress

Then she should have taken care about at least how she is holding the microphone. Actually, the way she is holding it looks pretty stressful. Doesn't look like a relaxed person at all.

Back on topic please.

People who laugh a lot are less likely to have cancers.

Laughing really eases stress and makes people beautiful. I myself lough a lot but I am always surrounded with deadly serious people, which makes them more stressful. They keep on reprimanding me for laughing about stupid things and jokes. And then I tell them. "of course I laugh about stupid things, but I understand you are serious people you only laugh about serious things like when Othello kills Desdemona or you go down to the cemetery on a sunny Sunday afternoon to have a little giggle among the sepulchral mounds, yes?"

That does it zichi, you should see their reaction that makes me really laugh. You think I will survive this?:-DD

@The Munya Times

And then I tell them. "of course I laugh about stupid things, but I understand you are serious people you only laugh about serious things like when Othello kills Desdemona or you go down to the cemetery on a sunny Sunday afternoon to have a little giggle among the sepulchral mounds, yes?"

Oh Munya, this is so funny ! Hahahahaha,.........

Sasaki said her secret to keeping in good shape and staying happy is to live her life without stress.

That should not be a problem in Japan where 3 nuclear reactors have exploded and melted into the ground. Sure no stress at all but be careful what you breath, eat and drink.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

I have no idea why I am even reading this crap! With earthquakes, tsunamis, radiation, death penalties...BEAUTY TIPS? What I am I thinking even commenting about some young so so looking girl, so I really agree with SSWAY!! No stress?? In Japan?? Now?? You gotta be brain dead to have no stress! IMHO.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

glad to see that people here value the opinions of women older than this rich youngster.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

She doesn't say how she lives her life without stress. Could someone please ask her how she does it?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Completely agree with zichi. Me and him too, we never fight. I live a life without stress, that must be the reason I am so beautiful, lol. Thanks for the insight little, what was her name again? Keep in mind Nozomichan: Beauty comes from within, in other words, eat your veggies.

Must be an Egg Girl graduate?

Japanese girls are so superficial.

They think that while they are supposed to be adults in their 20's, they act like they are 15 year old school girls.

They must learn more important vocabulary words in English than "Fashionable".

Japanese models and actresses should show young Japanese women, that educated people like they are should be ambitious in a productive way, and work to build the strength of the country, vs. living passive, low stress lives, where their biggest concerns are just having fun, being fashionable, and bobbing their cute heads to Lady Gage, etc.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

she wants to become a woman who is beautiful on the inside

wonderful words. I wish more people would try to follow suit.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Naivety tends to insulate you from stress. Big bank balance helps too

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

23 years old is her secret to keeping in great shape. No 23 year old should look like a balloon. Another vapid "tarento".

1 ( +1 / -0 )

At 23 the only stress I had was wondering if I had enough cash in my pocket to continue quenching my thirst in the next bar I stumbled into. Most here have hit it right on the nose, she will know what stress is once her star quality light begins to go dim in about 10 years. She is attractive though!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Geez guys thanks for the thumbs down....I'm just trying to point out that far too many talents are dimwitted boobleheads who are only concerned about how they look on the outside. Three cheers for her for thinking otherwise.

Beauty secret #2. being 23

Every one above seems to very upset with the 23 year old beauty. Well now she is 30 and still is a knock out. I think she is most beautiful. I am an old boy from Texas.
