Oliver Stone, making his first-ever visit to Iran, says the United States is a global "outlaw" that has made a mess of the Middle East.

And he has made a mess of the movie industry.

And he has made a mess of the movie industry.

If it was in anyway true, it would be a good line, but the movie industry is in fine shape. And anyway, starting illegal wars is not quite comparable to making some movies you don't like.

He calls it as it is! He just went up quite a few 'respect points' in my book.

I love visiting the US. I have many american friends. But I have to admit...if americans spoke a foreign language to me...I would be afraid. very afraid!

It just seems their is one rule for them, and another for everyone else.

I think people should strongly distinguish 'American people' from 'America (in general)'. Most American people are also opposed to the military industrial complex and have no stake in the many wars their government starts.

I have some good American friends who have nothing to do with the trail of destruction. Those who take the easy military career path and blindly support it, though... no friend of mine.

They are friends of mine. People who don't understand nature and dream of utopia where we all sing kumbaya are no friend of mine. These guys are out in war zones. What's Oliver stone doing? Making movies in Hollywood.

All the talk from bambies about America the terrible must be similar to the talk the Roman Empire heard; the same with Napoleon, the Ottomans, etc, etc. Its the same grumble a lion hears from a gazelle, the eagle from a rodent. Always the most powerful and the one in charge must suffer the whinings and moanings and moral beatings by the weak. This is just an advertising stunt by Oliver stone. Expect a movie soon about America the terrible. And all the bambies will go see it in huge herds.

Mr Noidall, agreed!

Stone is totally right. But after what the US did to Japan, the Japanese government continue to support the US.

Well that's simplifying World War Two just a little bit...

Thanks for highlighting one of the main root causes of these wars. You assume yourself morally, socially and physically superior to people you don't even know. You don't know me or my background. Not only do you automatically draw a line in the sand but then you go onto waging a war against anyone who is different to you.

Now here's the part you are yet to realize: your masters play on that part of you to get you to do their bidding. Military has been necessary since the dawn of man. But 90% of the wars the US have waged since WWii have been unnecessary.

Fitting that this blowhard is relegated to the Entertainment section for his sad remarks.

It will please the soyboys, but the US wears these insults from globalists and 5th columnists as a badge of honour

Actually. In this respect, the military industrial complex and Trumpism make the US the laughing stock of the world - in between people being disgusted and shocked by it... That's the badge you actually wear.

Stone is more of a patriot than the guys hiding behind badges and jingoism. He actually speaks the truth here.

AgentX - See North Korea. The world is trembling at the US once again.

And we are all better off for it.

Somebody seems to have forgotten that it was Japan that attacked America first then other Western Countries second
