Omotenashi Matsuri: Online music party delivers best of anime and Japanese DJ scene

Omotenashi Beats, a project started in 2019 by Avex Entertainment Inc. (AEI), Avex Management Inc (AMG), and Avex Pictures Inc for the purpose of introducing anikura (anime song DJ event) culture to an international audience, is launching a new online streaming DJ party called Omotenashi Matsuri which will have its inaugural event on Sunday, June 7.

The all-star cast of DJs will feature seiyu Arisa Komiya (most famous for portraying Dia Kurosawa in "Love Live! Sunshine!!"), who served as the most recognizable face of the Omotenashi Beats project in their first compilation CD "SUPER OMOTENASHI BEATS Vol. 1 X DJ Arisa Komiya" (see promotional MV below)...

...as well as DJ Koo (TRF); Azuki Shibuya (AKA DJ Zu) from seiyu-idol hybrid group i☆Ris; legendary anisong DJ and producer of the "Mobile Suit Gundam 40th Anniversary BEST ANIME MIX" album DJ Caesar; DJ and rapper motsu (formerly of m.o.v.e), who was involved in the opening theme of "Initial D" and countless other anime; multi-talented and social media-famous DJ Asanyan; and two DJs from multimedia mix project D4DJ: Miyu Takagi, who portrays Shinobu Inuyose and Tsunko who portrays Aoi Miyake. Finally, rounding out the lineup will be two performers making their DJ debut at the event, MIMORI from creative dance and performance unit kolme, and Shinichiro Kamio, who portrays Rio Mason Busujima in Hypnosis Mic.
