Does anybody actually care about this bimbo?

@Maria

A man who judges the victim of a crime like this, is similarly acronymed.

Same can be said for a person similarly judging. She claims she didn't receive any money? She didn't know. You are telling me a woman from one of the most powerful families was not able to do what lesser people were able to do? Cease and desist. Multiple suits against her ex as well as the production company? Also, it didn't stop her from leveraging that same tape into a reality TV empire and then a DJ empire. Especially when she mentioned her claim to fame, that tape, numerous times on her reality TV appearances.

There is no judgment in this. Simply an observation on how her and one of her best friends both turned these supposed leaked tapes that they had no power over, into a highly successful public career.

@Maria

Please stop making snap judgments and applying statements to me that I never made. I cannot attest to her character or her ex boyfriend. I don't know either of them. Also, taking ownership of your situation doesn't make someone a bad person. The only people I make judgements on are politicians based on their body of work. I don't judge nor care about the past and present of males or females that have had sex tapes released. Nor those that work as strippers, prostitutes, or in pornography. The only person that seems vindictive or judgemental right now is you. Your focus seems only on finding the absolute negative of any comment. This is my last response to you on this situation. Enjoy your day.

her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon released a tape of the pair being intimate.

Her POS ex releasing the tape without her knowledge or permission reflects poorly on him and certainly not on her. A man who judges the victim of a crime like this, is similarly acronymed.

Whatever you think of her, she is clearly not a bimbo. She may play one on TV, but that's called acting. She has built a small empire off her actions.

Everybody loves Robert Downey Jr., for example, and his record is even worse.

Yeah, but he can act.

It's OK though, she's attractive so I don't care if someone likes her. Just saying, she's not talented at much besides self-promotion and apparently cooking.

PH is the symbol of so much that is wrong of late, certainly no role model in any way shape or form!

Maybe, but I still don't get the hate. Everybody loves Robert Downey Jr., for example, and his record is even worse.

Oh no!

...anyway

You wish you had her business empire.

Documentary? Is this code for a new sex tape?

Here is a Coles Notes analysis of the "documentary"

Born with a silver spoon.

And a nice body shape, alrhoufh not that'much for me.

Why do you think they let a Basic instinct photo moment on JT ! ;))

0 ( +3 / -3 )

OK, so who is Paris Hilton?

0 ( +3 / -3 )

A word to the unwise: this is the sort of post that results from letting Vice do your thinking for you...

Oh please, like it didn't happen

America fell for it, lol

You wish you had her business empire.

So do you, but you don't. Neither of us was born a rich blonde.

What's your point?

I can forgive Paris for all the nonsense she did in the past, most of us have done crazy things, so I’m not knocking for that, but what made me not like this woman was when she stayed with that host family in the countryside and they really took a liking to her and seemed to hit it off quite well and later when the show ended and they did a reunion with that host family again the mother wanted to remain in contact with Hilton and she said, “what for?” Cold, mean and heartless and I remember the woman shocked and crying and after I watched that, I never liked the woman after that, not to mention she’s said some foul things about blacks as well, so because of that I just find her very trashy. There was No reason for her to treat a person that took her in like the way she did.

A stupid sex tape is what put her in the limelight and she relished it. She and Whoever Richie got a reality TV show and she made a crap CD. And it was her looks and ill-gotten fame that made it all possible. Then she got paid $M fees to show up at parties and she got a slap on the wrist for DUI. She claimed after that she'd go help the people of genocide-devasted Rwanda and that didn't happen.

Some people may be sympathetic to her problems but I'm not! Her traumatic past in Utah is no excuse for irresponsible behavior and she just needs to go away forever. Her Famous Fifteen Minutes passed a long time ago.

Back in the limelight with more media/public manipulation. Perfect timing as the Kardashians reality tv show ends. Im sure they all cooperate on the scam. Iwouldnt swallow the bs abt poor Paris’s “abuse” at skool.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

Seeking more attention? Yeah, she's not stupid.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

I like her, no matter her past. At least she has courage.

As for the sex tape.....if it didnt exist she likely would have manufactured something else in its place.

While I have no envy of being born a Hilton, clearly she doesnt want to take any responsibility for her actions & what happened along the way. Is it all her fault, not likely, but a TON of whats happened on her watch IS!

I was going to watch this supposed documentary but at just shy of 2hrs not likely

Seems to me she wants to CHANGE in peoples minds what SHE did......will check a few bits on youtube, not expecting to hear about her taking much responsibility!

She seems to be very polarizing on this site. Yeah, she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth but it doesn't mean we should belittle the troubles she says she has had in her life. I liked her dumb show for what it was - airhead entertainment - and wish her the best.

If ya think she's a bimbo, then ya bought into her manufactured persona hook, line, & sinker

"This Is How Paris Hilton Fooled the Entire United States of America - Through the power of a fake baby voice, Paris Hilton launched a business empire, invented reality TV superstardom, and disrupted American culture years before Facebook or the Kardashians."

https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/53nvp3/paris-hilton-profile-2015-19-fragrances-and-counting-heiress

At 34, Paris Hilton has accomplished more than most people do in a lifetime. In 2014, Women's Wear Daily reported Paris had sold over $2 billion worth of perfume. (Last month, she released her 19th fragrance, a limited edition of her second-best-selling fragrance, "Heiress.") And over the past 15 years, she has opened 50 "Paris Hilton" stores in over 40 countries; licensed her name and brand to 17 product lines; opened a resort, the Paris Hilton Beach Club at Azure in Manila, Philippines

Paris had learned to act like different characters in certain situations to get her way with men. "One is not born, but rather becomes a woman," French existentialist Simone de Beauvoir wrote. Paris learned the characteristics of femininity and then exaggerated cliché womanly behavior. In her teens, these gender performances, as feminist theorist Judith Butler has called them, manipulated boys to give her what she wanted.

But even three years before The Simple Life's premiere, Paris knew how to manipulate her femininity for business opportunities. By breaking the Upper East Side's dated Edith Wharton rules about heiresses' behavior, Paris became the protagonist of the local tabloids. Everyone was talking about her, so everyone wanted her at their parties. Party promoters even started asking the sisters if they could pay them to show up, making them among the first people to receive a paycheck for going out.

Neither Paris's management nor Fox expected The Simple Life to succeed, Vorias says. At the time, Survivor had recently become the first megahit reality series on a major network and The Real World had ruled MTV for over a decade, but reality television had yet to churn out an American icon on par with Jennifer Aniston or Ben Affleck. Paris, however, knew she could use the program as a launching pad for a major career. Sure, Vorias says, producers organized reshoots, but Paris directed herself. She created the "Paris talk and the ditziness" and famous one-liners.

"Remember that line when she was like, 'What's Walmart?' She knew what Walmart was," Vorias says. "She [created the line] herself and made it something that she knew [would] be like a watercooler [moment]."

"The people who don't get it are the ones who would say that because they only saw The Simple Life or an interview where I talk like a baby that I'm just this spoiled airhead," Paris says. "Anyone who'd actually look into it would actually know it's the opposite: You don't get this far and build something like this by being a dumb blonde."

the amount of time you spent writing that comment, it took her to earn your yearly salary...twice over. some bimbo huh? smfh...

You mean she should have just sat in shame instead of turning the situation around and taking control of her public persona?

Interesting that you assume her to be the liar, but have nothing to say about the man whom she says released this tape without her consent? You think he is somehow trustworthy but she isn't? Based on what, exactly?
