Civil Rights is something black people fought for and get the least out of it when it comes to monetary benefits.

Because you're supposed to value education or the trades and make money the honest way, not begging Uncle Sam for handout because muh ancestors.

@snowymountainhell Did you know that Williams mother is ASIAN???? Admittedly, Williams is ‘self-made’ with a net worth of over $200 million. He has assisted and produced many ‘established’ popular artists

Blacks fought for civil rights and lost many lives from the beatings and racial hate that all other minorities didn't have to endure but benefit from as well. Lets not forget that and fall into what blacks make and what hispanics and other make, if you are doing this you are playing the game they want you to play, which is the blame the other race game. Civil Rights is something black people fought for and get the least out of it when it comes to monetary benefits.

Black people lose 10 of billion a year, by not pursuing lawsuit against racial injustice, you can punish those who transgress you, and seize their asset, to settle what the court

Still a big difference in medians of Whites and Blacks.

Now all of a sudden you want to use Brookings as a source. I’ll remember that. The median between blacks and whites are huge, but the main problem for that is how they vote. The policies brought on by the Democrat party do absolutely nothing to help blacks, in fact, it’s the opposite. They’re not even open to trying something new, they just vote Democrat by default and sadly, as long as that happens the poverty and wealth gap will divide the races further.

Asian immigrants seem to do very well for themselves under the same circumstances, in fact much better than whites. Always seems to be the blacks though with a chip on their shoulder demanding things on a plate.

So? Asians have the highest median income and Hispanics have a higher median income than Blacks. What do you propose? Businesses invest in ideas and companies that make money. The value of an idea or business plan should be color blind.

He said the group was investing in founders of color, who could then create generational wealth and change their cities for the better.

Generational wealth includes financial assets — such as property, investments, money, or anything with a monetary value — that you pass down from one generation to the next.

Sorry, but inheritance and generational wealth are a problem too. They certainly play into inequality. I think a lot of people love equity and the redistribution of wealth blah blah until it affects their own bottom lines and potential inheritances. Get a grip, inheritances are a part of the bigger problem Williams!

@PeterNeil 10:14am: “OK, share some of your millions with me.”

This is not “Entertainment”. THIS is more ‘self-serving’ advertising under the guise of ‘activism’.

One:

- “Williams singled out the Japanese financial and venture capital group SoftBank..” -

Two:

*- “Earlier in 2020, Pharrell and Jay-Z collaborated on a song called “Entrepreneur”, which makes sense as they have both made fortunes outside of the music world, but Pharrell is becoming more adventurous with his business ventures.” *

Three:

*- “Williams is challenging corporate America to “do more" by supporting entrepreneurs of color and adopting economic equity measures.” -*

Communism isn't about economics anymore, it's about power.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. People "of color" who become wealthy all white-flight to Martha's Vineyard, like the Obamas. They don't invest in their old communities beyond a token amount. The crime, poverty, drugs and more there doesn't end.

Equity = communistic wealth distribution if you didn't know already.

no it does not mean communistic wealth distribution. It means equal access to equal chances rather than the racial prejudice that is rampant i the USA, where some groups find it difficult to access financial investment.I suppose paying people terrible minimum wages where they must work 2,3 jobs, can’tafford health care ( forces them on to the socialist “government” programs, trapped in college debt, teachers have to buy their own supplies. Etc etc.

oh wait….. that’s called financial slavery, or in America. Capitalism.
