Pop culture hit 'Gossip Girl' gets a makeover for HBO Max

Back in the student days when I watched this, it was easy to like Dan and Serena, but as an adult both are whinny, indecisive, duplicitous, and cause a lot of trouble for others emotionally.

Chuck and Blair seem to be the antagonists but are driven, determined, goal oriented, and just get after it. Often appearing more than willing to step over people to obtain what they want, beneath the surface, they have heart.

I recently rewatched all previous seasons! It brought back my old memories...
