Hundreds of Korean hackers hitting "refresh". And that is according to Korean news.
smithinjapan
Leave it to gokai to spread hate about the trivial news of a one-shot wonder. Curious, gokai, have you seen all the THOUSANDS of remakes of the song/video, including marching bands in the US, or pro-wrestlers in cities in the US? More curious still, are you jealous much?

Hundreds of Korean hackers hitting "refresh"
Hundreds, if not millions to promote a national idea.

and he never made it to Japan. Sad but the truth is SK don't even buy his music.
UrbanMoney
Really? Hackers? Korea didn't buy his music? This track became a global phenomenon, charting at number 1 all over the world, including S. Korea.
But at the end of the day, Psy is just another pop act, right? Like AKB and Exile. How are their global sales, by the way?

Interesting that almost everyone I met in England my age or younger knew it. It seems some are so bitter against Korea they can't even acknowledge a Korean entertainer doing well. Sad and a little disturbing.

It's rather sad to see Japanese and /or japanophiles get so upset over this man's success. If it were only Korean hackers, why was the song number one around the world (save Japan)? Why were marching bands performing it before football games in the US? Wh was Psy invited to X-Factor, Amercan Idol, and other shows (where hosts joined in the dance)?

That's okay. Don't be so sad. A lot of Japanese quite like Psy and the vast majority of the rest probably don't even know Psy exists. I highly doubt there are very many Japanese people getting upset over Psy success. I've never met one. I've met a lot of the opposite though. I would love to ask what the source of your bitterness against Japan is though.

slumdog: "Don't be so sad"
And yet another sad attempt (and by sad I mean pathetic) to twist words. You do realize how 'sad' that is, don't you? :)
"I highly doubt there are very many Japanese people getting upset over Psy success. I've never met one."
Then you never met anyone on iTunes Japan, which did not allow the song to be bought until only recently because they were upset about Dokdo after things soured when Japan originally said it was thinking about rescinding certain apologies, etc. You still might not be able to get it -- I'm not sure. I sure have met a lot of Japanese who have no idea who he is because the media here blocked access to him as much as possible.
"I would love to ask what the source of your bitterness against Japan is though."
Not bitter against Japan at all -- but won't pretend to favor or forgive the kind of ignorance you let slide by without question in some cases. The "J-basher" thing is, after all, simply a cop-out, you know.

No, I haven't.
Could you show me some reference to show any proof of what you are claiming here?
I would think it would be better to be sure first. By the way, I am sure that it is on I-Tunes.

Could you show me some examples of Psy actively being blocked by the media in Japan? Funny, I thought everyone here in Japan could access YouTube.
Unless I have missed it, I have never seen you post one positive comment about Japan, but I have seen you post endless numbers of negative posts about Japan. This suggests bitterness to me.
No, sometimes it is a case of 'If the shoe fits'.
