@ Alfie,

I didnt know about Keith taking his life until reading your post. Truly shocked and sad, RIP them both.

The best of Luke Perry was before he became a household name when he was on the daytime Soap Opera “Loving” back then he was making his bones and started to be compared to guys like Johnny Depp and Richard Gricco. Guy used to hit all the clubs in LA, cool guy very nice and approachable, sad news and too young for a very talented actor. RIP

I'm not familiar with him, but as I always pray whenever I hear of someone who dies, may God rest his soul.

You should watch his performance as Rev Cloutier in Oz, he plays an evangelical embezzler. Very realistic portrayal.

Never watched that show but the buzz around it was impossible to ignore. RIP.

Paul Newman, Dean Martin, Steve McQueen, Gene Berry...those were the days.

In the 90, I was one of the few Italian female teenagers who didn't like this show , but I knew the characters, of course, since it was very popular. I am sorry for him, he was really young. :(

I loved his guest appearance on The Simpson's as Krusty the Clown's half-brother.

"My face! My beautiful face!"

So sad for his son and daughter just 21 and 18 years old to lose their Dad. RIP Luke Perry.

a great actor and person! very self-aware and ready to laugh gentle-mockingly at hollywood fame. best example of that was his guest appearance on "Major Crimes"... funny, sweet and nostalgic! RIPeace!

RIP. Always liked him as an actor and a person. Had a soft-spoken genuine-ness about him.

Also had a classic cameo on The Simpsons as Sideshow Luke Perry.

Way too young to go.

90210 takes me back. Was not a fan of the show itself, but liked most of the actors well enough, Perry among them. I did watch it on occasion, and won't deny that some good times were spent with friends while the show was on. Was happy to see him back in a regular series in Riverdale, although I stopped watching that pretty quick. RIP.

I know a lot of women in America are going to be crying tonight. And yes, 52 is too young. A college GF of mine lost her fight with mental illness, took her life at that age. She was 2 years older than me. RIP LUKE PERRY.

I wasn't a fan of 90210 but you couldn't be a teenager in the early 90s and not know who Luke Perry was.

He was one of those guys who it was very hard not to like, very self aware (I remember his cameo on the Simpsons) and I just feel totally deflated to hear of his passing even though I haven't seen any work of his in probably 20 years (I think the Fifth Element was the last thing I saw with him in it).

Seems like he was a really cool dad too, very sad to see.

A sobering reminder that aging is a privilege. Condolences to his family and friends, may he rest in peace.

Life is a bit of a crapshoot, a winning streak here and a big loss there.  I didn't follow him but it's a bit of a shock when younger stars who have much to live for pass away so soon.

52 is way too young to go, I am going on 66 and for me the years since 52 have been as good as any and better than most of my twenties. I feel lucky to be in good health but I make fitness my number one hobby in retirement, it's better than money.

OMG, this is a complete shocker. It was already a surprise that a seemingly fit guy had a stroke, but I assumed he was on the mend. Does anyone know the cause of his stroke? Was it something genetic? I have fond memories of BH. Wasn't really into it when it first came on, but then when I first came to Japan, there was nothing much on TV, and then I got pretty hooked on this, especially enjoying the bitchiness between Valerie and the other girls.

Way too young, rip to both of my childhood icons.

Use this as a wake up call. Just because you appear health, that doesn't mean you are. So young to be gone over what is likely a preventable disease.

So young. And healthy-looking as well. Scary.

A sad start to the day. RIP Luke Perry and Keith Flint.

His performances in Oz was brilliant and disturbing. Sad to hear of both his and Keith Flint's passing, this morning. Both icons of 90s popular culture.
