Once Upon a Time In Hollywood??

A faded TV actor and his stunt double embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry during the Helter Skelter reign of terror in 1969 Los Angeles.

Russel, Pitt, DiCaprio, Pacino. Sounds intriguing. I wonder if it wil try to match up to the ultimate classic Once Upon a Time In The West?

Anyway, it doesn’t hurt to marry into the Hollywood “family”.

He got famous by copying some classic Japanese films and Japanese people themselves don't know about it yet they are very crazy fans in the world. They just don't know their own people are doing it original yet when western does it, they are like easily influenced.

A friend of a friend went on a date with Tarantino once and described it as him talking about himself for 4-5 hours straight without asking a single question. I love his movies though. Congrats!

Sure. Film-making has always been about influences, hommages and recycling.

Lucas was influenced by Kurosawa's The Hidden Fortress, Leone was er, "influenced" by Kurosawa's Yojimbo, John Sturges by his The Seven Samurai and so on.

And of course, Kurosawa was influenced by John Ford westerns.

Tarantino is just carrying on that grand tradition.
