Sad to hear. Was a great actor and really memorable in most of his roles. Bad cop, father figure, monster and nice guy, all really believable. He’ll be greatly missed. RIP.

And that's what makes a good actor. Can portray good/bad/ugly/anything and be 'real' and believable about it. how many true actors are out there today, not just the ones who play their own egotistical selves?

Ray truly was one of a kind. Hollywood sorely needs more like him. He's gonna be missed.

A talented actor will always be immortalized in movie memory as Henry Hill. "Goodfellas" was one of my top ten favorite movies of all time and just loved the guy, gone way too soon. "You're a funny guy..."

RIP

See ya later Henry, get those silencers fixed. Hear me, all that stuff is making your brains mush.

@commanter.......Copland was a great movie.

Thank you for that and for reminding me of a great part played by Ray Liotta.

Ray Liotta was great to watch. A grossly overlooked film is Copland. His final scene was epic.

Sean Connery and now Ray Liotta. Two of Scotland’s finest, gone forever. RIP

Mesmerizing LIVE streaming Ray Liotta’s final interview right now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbWkDDKsJoM

Too funny. Feels like this is the real Ray Liotta and not an act for Kimmel or one of the current late night hacks like Kimmel.

Rest In Peace, Ray.

"Don't we need a catcher?"

"Not if you get it near the plate, we don't."

R.I.P.

He was great! I loved him in Goodfellas. "You're being paranoid, Karen. This is all in your mind."

RIP Ray.

Many people praise Joe Pesci's acting chops for the success of the 'funny guy' scene in Goodfellas, but without Ray's 'is he kidding or is he serious?' reactions and anxiety-laden awkward laughter the scene wouldn't have been half as good.

Sad news. And Alan White of the band YES and the Depeche mode keyboardist have also died today. It's an awful day for good entertainment altogether.

His turn in Goodfellas was iconic. Sad to hear he passed. RIP.

One of the first 'restricted' movies I watched was Something Wild on the Superstation channel. I'll never forget the bathroom scene from that movie. Jeff Daniels was great in it too. Liotta always played the villain role so well. Something about his dark features and demeanor. He just came across as rough around the edges. I had a really slimy neighbor growing up in Canada that looked just like him. RIP RL!

RIP to the OG Henry Hill!

Man, way too early! Rest in Peace! I was still seeing him a lot in movies especially in the evil boss/crooked cop roles. My Top 5 Liotta movies:

Goodfellas

Field of Dreams

No Escape

Identity

Wild Hogs

Great actor. He's not my favorite actor of all time though; that would be Mr. Sidney Poitier.

One of the best. RIP, Ray Liotta. And thank you.

Rest In Peace, Ray Liotta. You brought a unique degree of charm and terror to many iconic roles. Just too young to have passed at 67.

Would have been interesting to have seen Ray as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

So sad.

I really liked Ray’s work.

RIP

A bolt out of the blue. Sad to see such a talent go so soon.
