Restored Chaplin films to be released in cinemas worldwide

A genius who through his character showed grace and compassion and could make people laugh in times of hardship. Don't forget that the US government labeled him a communist, and so he remained in exile in Switzerland. His films and message are timeless and still relevant, a true humanitarian, and anti-fascist.

His mother and step-father (the family’s ‘financial advisor’) squandered his deceased father’s conservation of Jackie’s hard earned $3-4 million (+$50m in 2021).Their theft and the legal battle left him only $126,000. I am certainly not blind to Chaplin's disturbing fondness for teenagers. Obviously, that does tend to tarnish his image.

I stand by my description of him as a genius, but do not condone his behaviour.

'Modern Times' was used for a 20th century history class in my college. And it rightfully predicted quite a number of things and said somethings about the past too. And it was funny!
