Nice to see a pretty feminine lady in an animated movie these days, impossible to find in the west now, she would have half shaved short hair, be wearing combat pants and be frowning.
Iron Lad
Looking forward to watch this in theaters, in japanese of course.

Really lovely movie with some dark undercurrents! Well worth a watch! The sound track was also awesome

Immediately questioned the parallels of Beauty & the Beast (1991: from back in the days of GREAT Disney films) and The Matrix (1999) but this was very-well-done original’ film and tribute to both inspiring stories. The soundtrack was on playback in many bookstores and music stores here, in Japan, all summer 2021. - Recommended.

Sorry, @IronLad 8:49am but you’ve been conveying your opinions on popular Japanese culture, local news & government policies as from ‘within Japan’ ? - “Ryū to Sobakasu no Hime”, in English: "The Dragon and The Freckled Princess”, was released, in Japanese, IN Japan’s theatres, July 16, 2021:
Rare for Japanese films to be released in theatres abroad, in Japanese or without foreign language subtitles. Perhaps L.A., the point of origin for this review, may offer a venue to show it in Japanese for the local Japanese-speaking community. Good luck finding it, in Japanese.

This one is a bit more than Beauty & the Beast, it's more like stories of perception of real people vs their avatars on the net.
The real "Belle" in this anime is much cuter than her avatar.

The last 2 big animated Hollywood movies are "Encanto" and "Raya and The Last Dragon"
Guess what they have in common? Feminine protagonists
It'll be shown on 1300 US theaters in both English dub and Japanese with subtitles
