 But over the last 15 years or more, you've had a golden age in American television. The Sopranos, Oz, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Atlanta, Fringe, Battlestar Galactica, The Expanse, House of Cards, Veep, Godless, The Mandalorian and so many more.

I'm referring more to network TV as the pits. Some of the shows you're listing are good, but they're not on network TV.

American network TV has a lot of 'reality' TV shows and junk, it's a total wasteland.
