Actress Riho Makise, 37, made her first public appearance since her marriage to DJ and fashion designer NIGO, 38, last week when she attended an event in Roppongi promoting Valentine's Day chocolates for premium chocolate manufacturer Godiva. Makise registered her marriage with NIGO on Dec 16 last year, and said that they were enjoying their new life together, but that there were no big changes to their lifestyle as they had been seeing each other since 2004. When asked why she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring, she said they had forgot to get one made and would do it in the near future.
Makise said that she had given NIGO chocolates every year on Valentine's Day but that she’ll just enjoy some chocolates by herself this year as her husband will be in Nagoya working. But she let the press see what kind of message she will send him on her cell phone, when she wrote “Let’s stay together and smile forever,” and then said she was embarrassed and had never said such a thing before. On babies, Makise said she will leave that one to the gods.

All women should take good care of themselves and still be a bomb at 50 ! But forgetting the wedding rings and leaving the making of babies to the god is such lousy excuse to make.
