Model Rinka, 36, wore a stunning pink gown to a press event held by Disney Mobile -- a tie-up between Walt Disney Japan and Softbank Mobile -- this week to promote the company's fifth cell phone.
Rinka appears in the upcoming commercial in the back of a taxi with the cell phone in her hand, and is transformed into a pretty-in-pink princess galavanting about in a horse-drawn carriage. "I really felt like Cinderella," she said, looking back at the filming.
David Milstein, vice president of Disney Mobile, also attended the event and presented Rinka with a special diamond-encrusted cell phone. Rinka said she wouldn't drop it.
Rinka, who married a man outside the celebrity loop in January this year, also commented on the frequency with which they exchange mails. "It might have dropped off a bit compared to before we were married. But we still mail each other at least once a day."
The new commercial airs from Friday, and the new cell phone (DM005SH) goes on sale the same day.

Yeah, she is 36 years old, but very popular with young women in Japan. That is the demographic they are going for. Don't be fooled by age.
