Report this please: Record low unemployment rate for all races, stock market at an all-time high, U.S a net natural gas exporter since 1957, 4 million people off of food stamps, NATO spending more on defense, etc. etc. etc. since Trump election in December 2016

But instead we have an article about Mr. Redford an 83 year old former actor surrounded by body guards and living in opulence telling us common folk what we should do to the current President. Pathetic. Please go away Mr. Redford and work in your garden.

NATO spending more on defense,

So why did Trump increase the defense budget then, taking it to nearly $1 trillion?

-3 ( +7 / -10 )

Silly.  so many dictators are subjected to impeachment hearings and allow this kind of drivel to be spoken about them without consequences.

Trump does behavior like he's the only pillar of government except when he need the SC, then he remembers that too.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

The US system of Govt prevents any dictators. Checks and balances.

Hyperbole is a powerful tool, but only when used appropriately.

There are many terms which can describe President Trump accurately, but dictator, nazi, white supremacist are not correct. Boob, man-child, bad for the US and world, letch are accurate. I strongly suspect crook fits too and a few other terms that can't be posted here would also fit.

Very well thought out article by Redford. Accurate and honest opinion stated in a concise manner.

Trump remains the worst US president of all time and it will be a very dark day indeed if someone even worse ever gets elected. Should Trump get re-elected then the writing is on the wall for the US. Getting your allies to dislike and distrust you is one thing. Having your allies hate you and stop all co-operation with you is the ultimate Trump goal to enabling him to become a dictator/king/Emporer.

Redford wrote, "This monarchy in disguise has been so exhausting and chaotic, it's not in the least bit surprising so many citizens are disillusioned." "It's time for Trump to go," he said. "And it's up to us to make that happen, through the power of our votes." Judge Jackson wrote: Donald McGahn is not “absolutely immune from compelled congressional testimony....Compulsory appearance by dint of a subpoena is a legal construct, not a political one, and per the Constitution, no one is above the law.”

A movie actor is hardly an expert on politics. I respect and admire Trump as one of the finest presidents that American has had in a long long time. America is still a free country with everyone having the right to their own opinion however just because someone is a famous actor does not give their comments any more importance than mine.

1 ( +9 / -8 )

I'm sure swing and working class voters must be getting weary of rich entertainers living in gated mansions mouthing off about a President who has delivered them jobs, a booming economy and improved border security.

1 ( +7 / -6 )

Whether you approve of Trump or not, he certainly has polarized America.

I personally thinks he doesn't get enough credit for the good AND bad things he has done, and for that you can't give him a second term, ie such an insular leader doesn't represent healthy democracy.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

ie such an insular leader doesn't represent healthy democracy.

The USA is not a healthy democracy. You are blaming the symptoms rather than the cause. Want the Trumps to go away? Fix the democracy. The other way around doesn't work.

Thanks Obama, we miss you !!..

That’s about the size of it.

Uh oh. Another Hollywood elitist that has an opinion, so we should take notes. Doesnt have a clue how the world actually works, but how he thinks it should be. Shut up already.

Uh oh. Another Hollywood elitist that has an opinion, so we should take notes.

Dang straight - we don't want no uppity Hollywood types, you know, like someone who was a host of a reality TV show for 14 years...

Doesnt have a clue how the world actually works, but how he thinks it should be.

Preach brother! Bet Redford doesn't know Colorado is on our southern border...

Shut up already.

Heck yea - we don't want no free speech!

MAGA 2020!

Is that Redford's real natural hair?

Thanks for your opinion, Redford, I think Jon Voight has it right and you have it wrong.

Trump remains the worst US president of all time

Nah, you've got it ass -backwards, he's the best president we've ever had.

Oh my...

People keep forgetting that Trump was a rich entertainer too (and Reagan and Jesse Ventura and Fred Thompson and Al Franken and bunch of other entertainers before they entered politics)

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

You can remove trump, but the mechanism for others is still there. It's like walking through poison ivy. Yes, you can treat the itch (remove president), but you wanna stop walking through the poison ivy patch (presidential system)? Parliamentary is much more stable and democratic.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Anyone promoting a movie? Say some BS about Trump. Guaranteed MSM coverage and a movie plug to boot. Dictator? Whada sad lefty.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Is that Redford's real natural hair?

What dye does Donnie use? Mango Magic?

Thanks for your opinion, Redford, I think Jon Voight has it right and you have it wrong.

Voight has gone over to the dark side...darn shame....

Trump remains the worst US president of all time

Nah, you've got it ass -backwards, he's the best president we've ever had.

Best pervert, liar, white supremacist, con-man, etc, etc....

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Thanks for the laugh. Who's Trump's Black Outreach Chairman, Steve King? Nah, Maybe David Duke? Richard Spencer?

The Dimwit is a Loser...

Hmm. Trump some years ago helped Redford with zoning for his beach side home in California. Redford was able to kick beach goers off his section of sand once Trump checked with the city laws. Go figure. Talk about a dictator.

"We have much to lose -- it is a critical and unforgiving moment," wrote the Hollywood heartthrob, who memorably starred in the 1976 political thriller "All the President's Men" about the Watergate scandal that brought down Richard Nixon.

Good ol' Bobby Redford. He pretended to be someone important in a movie. He read the lines that were written by someone else. He wore the clothes that were selected by someone else. And he was well paid for doing so. People bought tickets to see Redford pretending to be somebody who actually did something important. That doesn't make Redford important. It means that Redford can pretend to be whomever/whatever he needs to be in order to convince his fans that they should think the way he wants them to think. Actors are well paid con-men. Listen to them/believe them at your own risk.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

what I want to see from Redford Madonna Denerio Looney and the rest of the people we have to listen to as "experts" do an overnight documentary in Chicago during a gang shooting, a 6 month documentary in some South American country about the corruption and gangs, a documentary on LA skid row. Then give us commentary and advice how to fix all that. Otherwise I could care less what they have to say.

rich entertainers living in gated mansions mouthing off about a President

Remember when Trump fit this description?

@plasticmonkey

rich entertainers living in gated mansions mouthing off about a President

Remember when Trump fit this description?

I do remember. But the president he mouthed off about (Obama) didn't deliver the people record high employment, skyrocketing stockmarket, improved border security, etc.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Comments like these show how little many rich and comfortable entertainers care about the working class. Redford, DeNiro and Co don't have to struggle to find a job to pay the heating bills and feed the children. Rather than rejoicing that President Trump has significantly eased the burdens of struggling families, they criticize him with all kinds of derogatory names!? Pathetic.

Maybe the working class ought to stop watching thier trash films, put them out of work and then these guys might get a sense of how unemployment feels.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Remember when Trump fit this description?

He was right about Obama and to a certain extent Bush, but none of these Presidents could do what Trump did and all of these stupid liberal actors with all their fame and wealth aren’t doing jack except complaining and no one is listening to these fools.

Trump IS a dictator.

No, he’s not. He’s as much of a dictator as AOC is President of the US.

He promotes violence with his tempr-tantrums and hatred, he kidnaps children from their families and places them in squalid concentration camps with no intention of ever releasing them

Trump does not promote violence, however, he won’t sit by like past Republican Presidents and allow liberals to hurl insults and turn the other cheek, he’ll fling it right back which is very refreshing actually. As for kidnapping children, why were liberals quiet when the last administration did the same, but now expressing outrage over people that entered the country illegally? Of course people that violate and break our sovereign laws shouldn’t be allowed in

because they are Hispanic, he has gassed Hispanic migrants last Thanksgiving weekend, used the National Guard for his own use, illegal purposes and to promote his stupid racist Berlin-ish wall he wants. He has prompted himself to be a messiah ('chosen one'), established a bullying personality cult, always defends racist Nazi trash who disrupt events, acts like a 6-yr.-old, need I say more?

Ok, this is really getting bizarre. Even CNN didn’t report on this and they’ll report on Trump breaking a fingernail. So why is it you know this and CNN or NYT or even msnbc haven’t reported extensively about it?

He always whines 'I can do what I want'.

Yes, he’s the President.

He has no regard for the Constitution. He has no regard for other lives.

Neither do the Democrats, especially the Democrats.

His Supreme Court appointee Kavanaugh is a sex offender just like he is.

How? It was never, ever remotely even close proven to be true. If so, show us what every liberal was afraid to show?

We're talking about Redford's hair.

Democrats are Doomed: Two Polls Show Support for Trump Among African Americans at 34%

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Thanks for the laugh. Who's Trump's Black Outreach Chairman, Steve King? Nah, Maybe David Duke? Richard Spencer?

Some say anything over 20% African American support will give Trump the election, considering the Democrat candidate always gets around 90% In the case of Obama he got 93% against Romney and 95% against McCain. Oh my!

Trump 2020 all the way, Baby! Choo-choo!

I agree with Bass - Donnie is not a dictator - most dictators in history had at least average intelligence.

Donnie is a dumb dictator - a moron maniac - a teeny tyrant...

His campaign colludes with Russia but gets caught...

He tries to bribe Ukraine but gets caught...

He tries to cover it all up and gets caught...

Maybe he's more of an inept dictator...and a pervert, serial liar, white supremacist, con-man, coward, traitor, etc....

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Is that Redford's real natural hair?

Maybe you are - I'm talking about that orange piece of roadkill that's on top of Donnie's head...how does he keep it orange?

"Some say" - oh yea, very convincing. Here's what Repub Rep Steve King says on tape - "White supremacy - when did that term become offensive?"

Trump 2020 all the way, Baby! Choo-choo!

Everyone on board the prison train headed to Rikers Island - we're going to go join Manafort and Stone!

I agree with Bass - Donnie is not a dictator - most dictators in history had at least average intelligence.

But not when it came to business or the economy, most dictators lacked the intelligence.

Everyone on board the prison train headed to Rikers Island - we're going to go join Manafort and Stone!

Yeah and AOC and Schiff will be by his side as well.

Show me one that had 6 bankruptcies and lost over $ 1 billion... Trump is inept and a Loser...

Everyone on board the prison train headed to Rikers Island - we're going to go join Manafort and Stone!

Yeah and AOC and Schiff will be by his side as well.

You going to invite them onto the Trump Prison Express? Nah, but given all his bad news this week, we're sure Crazy Rudy has a reservation...by the way, was Rudy acting on Trump's orders in Ukraine or freelancing on his own?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

But not when it came to business or the economy, most dictators lacked the intelligence.

They had enough intelligence not to add $3 trillion to the national debt.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Yeah and AOC and Schiff will be by his side as well.

Except they haven't committed crimes.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

We're so lucky to have rich Hollywood elites telling us what is good for us.

Yep, thats some dictator - the entire mainstream media has been beating up on him for the past three years, and various assorted "entertainers" have made the most absurd accusations and pronouncements about him - and yet the dictator has taken no illegal action to stop it.

Mr Redford might want to try it in Iran, Pakistan, N Korea, etc etc etc.

Come on Bob!

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Show me one that had 6 bankruptcies and lost over $ 1 billion... Trump is inept and a Loser...

But he made it back, had the biggest rated TV show and is now the most powerful man in the world. Yeah, great achievements for a loser.

You going to invite them onto the Trump Prison Express?

With AOC and Schiff, if they want.

how me one that had 6 bankruptcies and lost over $ 1 billion... Trump is inept and a Loser...

Only Trumpers would brag their guy is a reality TV host. Kim Kardahsian for Secretary of State!

You mean most powerful puppet in the world - the most powerful man in the world would be Trump's Master - Putin...

You going to invite them onto the Trump Prison Express?

With AOC and Schiff, if they want.

And for the fourth time, was Rudy acting on Trump's orders in Ukraine or freelancing on his own?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Except they haven't committed crimes.

We shall see. Schiff is most definitely a partisan hack that got handed a huge butt kicking over this farce.

https://pluralist.com/the-squad-campaign-finance/.

You mean most powerful puppet in the world

If you say it like that then Obama was a puppet for Russia and the Mullahs, Bush for Saddam and Clinton for Milosevic.

And for the fourth time, was Rudy acting on Trump's orders in Ukraine or freelancing on his own?

Ask Rudy, I don’t have WH clearance.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

And for the fourth time, was Rudy acting on Trump's orders in Ukraine or freelancing on his own?

Ask Rudy, I don’t have WH clearance.

Well, I guess the Trumpers here lack the guts to answer an easy, simple question - was Rudy running rogue in Ukraine on his own or was he acting under the direction of Trump...

If they can't answer that, it means that their entire defense of Trump just went down the drain.

If they can't even say definitely that Trump wasn't directing Rudy, Sondland and Perry to shakedown Ukraine, that means it's true.

So if you can't say yes or no to the simple question; was Trump directing Rudy? You've just lost the fight - it's over. Tell Donnie to vacate the WH and turn himself over to the NYSD Attorney for his trial in the Stormy payoff case - and others.

Not simple, let the investigators find out first. Yes, we know Schiff thinks he knows...lol

Let investigators do their job? This is a new development. When did this happen?

Not simple, let the investigators find out first. Yes, we know Schiff thinks he knows...lol

So you can't defend your Sainted Leader - even to say he didn't direct Rudy's actions. That's a damning statement - even you can't say Trump is innocent...

You've just lost the fight - it's over.

It’s not even started, so yes

If you and other Trumpers can't say he wasn't involved in the bribe, then its done , finished...you can't defend him.

No crime - unlike Rudy who Barr has under criminal investigation - did Trump direct him?
