The only thing sadder and more irrelevant than the Stones at 50 are the sad losers silly enough to go to see them and buy this book.

They haven't made a good record since "" Exile on Main St'

@bellsmyre49--you're a bit extreme, but not by far. I like the fact that these guys can still keep in character, but from a music lover's point of view, they're basically just riding their fame. I don't blame them, but I'm not going to follow them anymore.

At most, a 50th anniversary book at this point can only be a celebration of what they did in the 60s and early 70s. And that Keith is still alive.

I disagree most strongly, bellsmyre. Some Girls was also a fantastic album, though it wasn't a blues album like Exile.

The Stones are everything the Beach Boys are not..with intelligent lyrics..none of this 10 year old boys' 'went to a dance looking for romance,saw Barbra Ann ...'click'
