Sayaka Isoyama to try Core Rhythms diet method

Gravure model and TV personality Sayaka Isoyama, 25, on Wednesday announced that she will try the Core Rhythms dieting method to lose fat in her thighs, upper arms, hips and belly. Her challenge is part of the “Escape from Typical Japanese Body Shape Project.”

Isoyama, who calls herself “a representative of the chubby,” said, “I think there is a fine line between chubby and fat."

During the event, comedian Rie Kuwabata, who lost weight through a Core Rhythms diet last year, measured Isoyama's girth. She said, “Looking at the photos of various gravure girls, I thought that Isoyama really needs to lose weight through Core Rhythms.”

Core Rhythms utilize basic Latin dance moves to create an aerobic workout that allows individuals to shape their bodies while giving their hearts a much-needed workout.

Isoyama, who publicly announced her measurements, said, “I will take 30 cms off my girth by this time next month.”

Isoyama's progress will be reported on the website “kubireru.jp,” and the final result will be announced in April.

She'll disappear then.

she's not fat, she's big-boned. They should measure my girth as well.

PenpinGalarga, it's better to be 'big-boned' below the waistline rather than 'big-boned' above the neckline.

If you haven't seen my 320-lbs of nekkid 'girth' stickin' to the vinyl chair in front of my keyboard, then you've still got your eyesight.

hope she doesnt lose anything in her chest area, or she'll be out of a job

She must be fat according to Japanese standards. I live in the U.S. and you should see the fatties in this lard-saturated neck of the woods. Actually, check that - you really don't want to see, especially in summer.

Looks like Kuwabata is starting to get back a little of her pudge. The transformation she made was remarkable, but you can't backslide!

@soldave

Core rhythms, C1000, Barbie... it's product placement central today!

If you complain, 'they' will come...

It's not a diet! It's a workout - you can't eat a workout. BTW - my wife does it, but I hope she doesn't end up looking like the instructors - they have all the allure of draught excluders, and the men in the background are the biggest pair of gurning morons I've ever seen.

Escape from Typical Japanese Body Shape Project

How can you escape your body?

The fat that first goes is from the breasts, the last - from the stomach area. Before she gets a flat stomach she will be flat elsewhere.

Looking at the photo, Kawabata seems to have more of a problem than Isoyama. Both of them could benefit from a 4 km run every other day.

to be honest, I would rather see girls looking like that then some of the body-shapes around Shibuya.... some of the girls there look malnourished and have the same body shape as an 8-year old boy!

The chubbier gravure seem to do better than the skin and bone variant. That lass Nonami Takizawa looks a load better since she gained a bit of weight.

What does usaronin want to say? I can't understand it.

That's chubby? That's not chubby.

Chubby for a Japanese. Wear long pants please.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Oh, wow. She's thin as a stick already. That's unhealthy to lose more.

Escape from flat chest/ no arse/ dental chaos?

10 points to Wottock.

Isn't Kuwabata some idiot whose whole shtick is to wiggle her belly about in some sort of 'exercise' ? There's so much wrong with this whole story. Who is she, a 'tarento' comedian, to tell a skin mag chick how to look? Why should she have to look like the typical emaciated Japanese model? And how does anyone take 30cm off their body, unless the plan is to measure all the bits - legs, arms, stomach, etc - and add up the tiny increments lost? And all in a month? As if.
