Totally concur...Rambo was extremely awesome. Thoughtful with little dialogue. Even subtle in the quiet moments between complete bloody mayhem. S.Stallone can direct anything he wants and I shall be pleased to view it. So, no dissin' Rambo!

ForeignKiri, dude he is a republican. It is all about his money. Besides, don't you see the CM's he is putting out in Japan for us to go visit the Silicone valley.

Hmm...lets see... former actor now gov. of california spends his time casting in Stalone's movie role as HIMSELF (narcissistic much) instead of helping take stimulus money and trying to procreate better status for his state and help with several of its prbolems including recent forest fires, argicultural decline and maybe a change in education or health care systems... NOW what's more important?
MANDUDE
Art will imitate life when Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger spends a few hours playing WITH himself later this year in a movie by Sylvester Stallone. This will be his hardest role yet!
noirgaijin
IchyaWarFare, sorry I must have misunderstood your initial grouping, but now fully understand.

Wow, Stallone,Dolph Lundgren, Arnie....all they need is Jean-Claude Van Damme, and they have all the 80's muscle actors who speak english with a wierd accent....
Jet Li, Mickey Rourke and Forrest Whitaker should be excluded from that sad grouping since they stand on their own merits and not just a pair of over muscled legs...
IchyaWarFare
Ahh, I meant Lundgren has been doing MA longer than Forest and Rourke only did wrestling. Lundgren was also a pro fighter before he made it.
So noirgaijin, I did not add him becuase he is not that old and again, I respect him as an actor and his acting ability. Not saying he can't move, but just read above.
IchyaWarFare
The reasons for my choices - Li is a given - no arguments there right?
Why Lundgren - Everyone saw Showdown in little Tokyo, being doing MA longer than Rourke has. I am more than sure he is still in better shape.
Why Forest not higher, if I was talking on acting ability, he would of been on the top of the list. I know his ability, but his ability to move as quickly as the others is why I did not list him. Not saying he can't move, just IMO, he got last.
Rourke - I know how big he got. But do you know what it takes for a wrestler to get like that. Not talking roids, but the physical conditioning and I know he took the blows and falls. The wear and tear on him and on his age, not gonna cut it to be above the other guys. He sits at third.
Did not add Stallone cause I did not see the new Rambo, and after what Sarge said, not sure if I will see it.
noirgaijin
You may have over looked Forest Whitaker as one of the player here, so I will assume you did not want to include him as one of the "old big names," since he is only second to Jet Li in being the youngest and has a black belt in Karate.
Sarge
It should be illegal for Stallone to make any more movies after that last reintarnation of Rambo.
Badsey
Make it a dual play DVD with "Judge Dredd" and I might buy it.
bobbafett
did you see the wrestler? Rourke can move and looks good but Lundgren? I cannot understand that pick.
IchyaWarFare
Those are a lot of old big names. I remember watching them as a kid and probably the only one who can really move is Li, then Lundgren and then maybe Rourke if he can keep in shape.
Sarge
I doubt this movie will win any Academy Aawards.
