Great actor though.

He didn't die in When Saturday Comes or Sharpe neither.

Didn't die in Lady Chatterley's Lover, either. At least not that I remember.

One does not simply die like Sean Bean.

For those unfamiliar with the vagaries of Gaelic spelling, it’s pronounced “Seen Born”.

I liked him in the autobiographical "Mr. Bean" and the cartoon offshoots.

A big Sheffield United fan as well.

He was magnificent in Accused (Tracie's Story) and pretty menacing in Red Riding.
