I have seen a lot of his work on youtube and it is impossible not to smile when watching him. His comedic timing and skill have been imitated by many but never duplicated.
I am glad for having had the chance to see him and gladden by the fact that his comedy will stay around for many generations to come! Thank you for the enjoyable memories!

RIP, Sid Caesar.

What a year so far ! terrible to read about this. As well as being a titan of comedy, Sid helped start the careers of Carl Reiner, Mel Brooks and Neil Simon (just off the top of my head).
You may not know Sid's work but we've all benefited from it indirectly.

They don't do shows like this any more. Was a kid when he came on the tube and his partner between both where great. All you see now is violence, shooting, bunch of crap. No wonder world is going wacky.
