Pop group SMAP have announced their seventh 5-dome concert of Japan.
The tour will start on Aug 23, two weeks after the release of the group's 20th original album "Gift of SMAP," with performances in Tokyo, Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka.
Last year, SMAP marked their 20th anniversary. Goro Inagaki, 38, said that "last year was a significant and important year for us. However, we can restart again," according to Nikkan Sports.
SMAP did not perform any big concerts last year because of the March 11 disaster. Instead, they held meet-and-greet events for fans and sang at fund-raisers.
Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, 37, said: "Japan had a hard time last year, so this year, we would like to put on a great show and encourage our fans."© Japan Today
