SMAP song reaches No. 1 spot on Oricon for first time

SMAP's new song, "Boku no Hanbun" (Half of me), which was released on Dec 21, sold 130,000 copies in the first week, and reached the No. 1 spot on Oricon's weekly rankings for Jan 2.

It is the first time for a SMAP song to be in the No. 1 spot, although the group has had 46 songs in the top 10 since their debut in 1991.

SMAP has many Oricon No.1 songs....

They have about 20+ No1 singles JT...some of which were actually pretty good. Sekai hitotsu dake no hana? Lion Heart? Yozora no muko?
