Like Carl Schmitt said people/peoples need a enemy image as a basis for there own cultures. This has been exploited by governments for a long time. Now with terrorism there is a boogy man everywhere this helps keep the populous in fear and under control. People who are interested should read the neolib "project for a new american century."

No [censored] Sherlock! People have been warning about this since the '50s. The thing is, no-one listens. No-one has any real reason to. Claims are made, but it doesn't take long for the evidence (if there ever is any to begin with) to become flimsy and hard to believe. To be honest, I think by the time any irrefutable evidence comes to light, it'll already be too late. IF there's any credibility to the claim to begin with. I'm on the fence one way or the other. It could be true, it could be nonsense. Neither side has swayed me yet.
