Sony delays 'Venom' sequel release amid virus surge

Look, everyone !! - It’s more DISNEY news & advertising !! Yes, the headline reads “Sony” but 70%+ pertains to Disney. Plus, it (again) adds Disney has a NEW movie out in theatres TODAY !!

- “This weekend, Disney will release the 20th Century Fox production “Free Guy,” with Ryan Reynolds, only in theaters.” -

Can wait til Sony either gets their own steaming service or, throws in with someone else, against Disney+ before spending ‘theatre money’ on Venom 2.

Tom Hardy is great in movies, like Warrior (2011) with Joel Edgerton.

Or, TV series like Taboo (BBCOne 2017).

But, he was miscast as “Bane” against Christian Bales’ Dark Knight. Had the muscle but just not the towering size and, what was with that Scottish(?) accent ??

On contrast, his Reporter Eddie Brock/Venom looked meager and was also lacking of anything ‘remarkable’. Too much overblown CGI monster effects and less of a Tom Hardy character dominating HIS opponent.

Wishing Tom Hardy well. And hoping for a season 2 of Taboo.
