I don't think Mr. Banderas is claiming that he took something - hydroxychloroquine? disinfectant? intravenous sunlight? - and was "cured" in that way, so I'm not sure why the emphasis on his use of that word. English is not his first language, as anyone who's watched any of his English-language movies can attest, and it seems that he's just using the word in the sense of "recovered".

So any hydroxychloroquine + zinc/disinfectant/sunlight advocates reading this headline and thinking "At last!" are probably going to be disappointed.

HCQ has proven effective in a large number of cases when administered by physicians at the right time. This is fact.
