Wouldn't that make them, 'old spice girls'? :D
SimondB
Please don't. Wait maybe another twenty years and then I'll probably be gone. If you reunite now I may well face an early demise. I just could not bear to go through the Spice Girls again.
USNinJapan2
That would take a considerable amount of surgery I imagine...

This is almost as bad as a New Kids on the Block or Backstreet Boys reunion.

Please stop this! Someone. Anyone.
Aly Rustom
These girls are so full of themselves that they actually think the world wants to see more of them. unbelieveable.
Jimizo
Oh, give them a break. It's an honest living. 'Wannabe' ticks all the boxes for a hugely successful bubblegum pop song.
Not my thing nor the thing of the posters here, but I'm pretty sure these women couldn't give a crap.

Capitalism. At its best. Instead of asking about Democracy, ask the question, "Is Capitalism the best system?"

If you think they won't sell a whack of tickets for a reunion tour, you're kidding yourself.
Aly Rustom
a whack of tickets isn't the whole world.
nath
1) You never said 'the whole world' in your original comment
2) Where did these girls state that they think either 'the world' or 'the whole world' wants to see them in the first place?
Nessie
Now they're all Scary Spice.
Aly Rustom
I said the world. same thing.
They're having a reunion.

Emma Bunton, known as Baby Spice, Mel B, Scary Spice and Geri Halliwell (now Horner), Ginger Spice, on Friday thanked fans for their support in a video posted on YouTube and a website called “Spice Girls GEM”, thought to refer to the trio’s initials.
how very very sad.
nath
Which means they think that some people will want to see them. 'The whole world' or 'the world' (whichever you want to call it) is not implied. So you are making things up that you think they've said, and criticizing them for it.
As such I stand by my original comment. If you think that they aren't going to sell a whack of tickets you're kidding yourself.
Aly Rustom
look who's talking!
Stand alone all you want.
Jimizo
I think the Spice Girls have enough fans to make a shedload of cash from this.
What's the problem? Don't tell me it's the music snobs who learned the opening riff to 'Smoke on the Water' and then packed the guitar in. They tend to get a bit uppity about things like this in my experience.
DaDude
I don't know their stage names but know them as the blonde one, the porn star and Eddie Murphy's baby momma.
goldorak
I actually think they are more attractive at 40yo than they were at 20yo! (possibly already gone under the knife though)
Haha, agree. Boys bands go from pathetic at their peak to pathetic and creepy when (or should) they reunite in their 40s. Girls bands remain silly, often cheesy but not as creepy imo. Reckon some 10-15yo teens and their mums could cough up a few bucks for Spice Girls 2017 tour tix! Yay!

It will be a hugely popular. No, I'm not a fan, but they have as much right and legitimacy as any MTV act eg, Beyoncé, Berber, etc.

Hang om I know that some people don't like the SG but hang on they can't be all that bad, they had 15 hits, they not only had hits in the UK but through out the whole world, they have sold over 80 million records world wide!!! some people like rap, personal i think it is a mono toned talentless dribble they don't have harmonies, they don't have any key or active changes, its just one repetitive drone, its utterly talentless, unlike the SG. PS Baby spice is still hot!
Goodlucktoyou
Did two die?

Thins the world doesn't need right now.
