94; a good innings.

A 2007 American Film Institute survey of the top 100 American movies ranked "Singin' in the Rain," with its inventive take on Hollywood's transition from silent to talking pictures in the 1920s and Kelly's famous dance in a downpour, at No. 5.

For many years, the dance was all I was familiar with, regarding the film. It had been parodied so many times, most memorably by Morecambe and Wise. When I finally watched the actual movie, I was blown away. Great dance numbers and a genuinely funny film.

They really don't make 'em like that, anymore. Thanks, Mr Donen.
