Behind the Paywall, which means torrent time.

The US major networks are really getting obnoxious with this pay to view thing. It is a real hassle if you are an expat even when using a VPN. abc.com has put a total block on VPN's, even if you pay to view, you cannot. HOLA only works sporadically for some of their content.

I love Star Trek. I have the collector's set for the original TV shows, and also the first movie set collection.

Hope I will be able to find these new ones some how.

Like shonanbb, I also have the original seasons, but I guess I'm a Star Trek snob.

I hated all of the follow-up TV shows. The 2009 movie I boycotted, but boy was I wrong about that. I liked it so much I went to the movies to see Into Darkness, only to be totally 100% disappointed again. Had I known they were copying a story from the original TV series, I wouldn't have gone. A total waste of money IMO. Seeing how Bryan Fuller co-wrote(copied) and produced Into Darkness, I'm guessing another bad attempt at the original. Here's a tip Bryan, drop the PC social engineering crap. Better yet, get Shatner and Sulu back in there and clone the rest.

Let's just hope JJ "Lens Flare" Abrams is not involved.

“Before seeing a frame of the television series, the "Star Trek" universe lit my imagination on fire,” said Fuller, who launched his career in the 1990s writing for “Deep Space Nine” and “Voyager,” two of the series in the sci-fi saga.

If I remember correctly, "Deep Space Nine" and "Voyager" were the least liked of the Star Trek series.

Kurtzman, who co-wrote and produced the blockbuster 2009 and 2013 spin-off movies “Star Trek” and “Star Trek Into Darkness,” will executive produce the new show along with Fuller.

On the plus side, Alex Kurtzman's work has been highly regarded by the die-hard fans.

don't worry, if it can be watched, it can be streamed

Hmm...seems OK. I hope they take it in a grittier direction, while keeping the nerdiness intact. I wonder if they'll go episodic or try a narrative structure like enterprise S3.

Honestly they will never capture the grandeur and hope that next generation brought to the story. Now it will all be this sub universe jj star wars/ trek people have come to think of as trek. Sad.
