Yet another tweeted a redrawn logo of the American coffee chain with the title changed to "Winterfell coffee" and the wolf's head sigil of the Starks, one of the noble families at the center of the series.

Do people seriously have nothing better to do?

I wonder if Starbucks paid for it?

100% chance that the barista misspelled “Daenerys.”

wasn't a Starbucks cup. Starbucks piggybacking on a local cafe's cups.

The cup was from a local coffee shop in Banbridge, Northern Ireland near where they filmed, but it is the second time that this as happened. A different cup appeared 3-4 seasons ago in a crowd scene!

Well I guess I now know that Jon Snow and Daenarys weren't killed during the battle with the blue eyed undead. A bit of a spoiler with that picture : (

Because the much-anticipated final series of the show is an absolute shambles that's receiving a critical pasting by both fans and critics alike; leaving a coffee cup on set like this is seen as emblematic of its decline.

Lighten up! Geez...

Anyway, I can't wait to see what SNL does with this.

Editing mistake, just that. That was probably a practice take.

It's not a fluke! It's foreshadowing! The cup will win the Game of Thrones and sit on the Iron Throne! Mark my words! What a twist!

Just watch - the VFX editor will edit it out in post-production for the Blu-ray. It will be a big conspiracy!

Its already fixed from any currently and future streaming of the ep.

I think it's funny, and quite frankly I'm surprised there aren't a whole lot more errors like this. I worked for a very short time in film and the prop and set people have to be very careful to avoid consistency errors. You see them most often in levels of drink in a cup (it's full, then half empty, then full again in the next cut to the actor) and the length of cigarettes.

Best slip I've seen lately is in The Walking Dead when a zombie opens up a bottled water and takes a drink.

What a break! Thanks to the usual non-fact-checking internet users, Starbucks receives free advertising. It wasn't a Starbucks cup. HBO called it a "craft services coffee cup". As wanderlust correctly posts, "The cup was from a local coffee shop in Banbridge, Northern Ireland".

Bran brought back the coffee-latte through some kind of a fourth dimensional wormhole.

He's probably tired of drinking ale and wine all the time.
