So is it a fundraising event to help homosexuals who lost their jobs due to their sexual orientation during the pandemic, or an event to help community centers that provide assistance to anyone, including homosexuals? It's a bit confusing.

As always, the biggest victims in society is the LGBTQII+ community.

Well I sure as hell have never of anyone being fired from their jobs, or verbally or physically abused just because they were straight. Although I have seen some crying foul after they've been pushed out of the closet and prevented from causing more harm to the LGBT community from within the Republican party.

I'm heterosexual so I'm not going to state any position on this issue other than the fact that discrimination against anyone, anytime due to that person's sexual orientation is wrong, hateful and stupid.

And nobody's got a gun to your head to donate funds for this benefit.

Pukey2 Although I have seen some crying foul after they've been pushed out of the closet and prevented from causing more harm to the LGBT community from within the Republican party.

A few years ago a Florida GOP Senator who opposed all LGBT civil rights legislation and legal protections was outed after e-mails from him to a male (teen) page were discovered. He resigned his seat, went to Al-Anon treatment, 'found Jesus' and now works 'on the side' for the Republican party. Keep it all out of sight, undercover of the night!

"If these community centers have to close their doors, that means that LGBTQ kids may not have a meal. It means they might not have a place to go," singer and actress Barbara Streisand said by telephone.

Reading the article helps. There are kids who have been thrown out of their homes for being LGBT, who need a place to stay, and it would seem like these community centers aren't getting enough or any help in keeping their doors open for LGBT kids who need a place to be safe, so this charity is specifically to help these centers.

Why is this a bad thing? Why is helping people in need a bad thing? Why do you have to put such a negative spin on it?

There are many many examples of those self-haters in the republican party. In fact, there's a video on youtube listing all the famous outings. Embarrassing, to say the least!

In this day and age, the truth is, you'd be discriminated on for NOT being gay or ok with things of their lifestyle! Who are they fooling?? I have seen numerous times of people being harassed and lost their jobs because of the people being straight. Equal rights is equal rights.

Jesus said what you do or do not do for the least of my people is what you do/do not do to God. That includes everyone. God doesn't make junk.

I had an executive officer at one military command I was stationed at when I was n the Navy who vowed to 'crucify' any of us who were caught DUI. Turned out HE was a 'recovering alcoholic' guilty of that exact offense at another command himself!

And some of the older men who howl about young women being dressed 'too permissively' turn out to be perverts. And so on.

That is CRAP. White supremacists use the lie that white Americans are 'passed over' or ignored in education + employment. That is a racist pile of BS.

And Slobodan Milosevic cried and wailed about 'Serbs being trampled on' as his excuse to start up the violent destruction of Yugoslavia thru genocidal wars, mass rapes, concentration camps and other fascistic abuses.

Gays are a minority and always will be. It's not a lifestyle or a choice. And who's making these 'discriminations'? Not gay people.

Gay pride has become a dollar bill commercial racket in a way over the past few years, a money-grabber. Even some gays don't like that trivialization. They just want heterosexuals to accept them as they are. Is that too much to them to ask for?

Adolph Hitler murder over 100000 homosexuals in his Holocaust. And even today the Uganda president is such a rabid homophobe. If he 'outs' you (often it's in the media) then that strikes a witch hunt frenzy. It becomes the 'duty' of fellow Ugandan citizens to 'kill the gays'.

And what the hell did gays ever do to deserve that?
