Not a problem. As they say, Supergirl is focus. Next will be Black Superman. Or Not So Superman (don't want to make the audiences feel inadequate).

Cavill, to me, was a very average Superman. Would have been very interesting if the Burton/Cage vision had ever gotten off the ground.
Michael B Jordan could be in the running to replace HC, and why not? He's shown his acting chops in the infinitely more entertaining Marvel Universe.
Supergirl, I can't vouch for the series (not seen it) but it can't be any worse than the Helen Slater version back in '84. We shall see...

I didn't hate him as Superman but Ben Affleck was such a terrible Batman I'd rather leave this whole era of DC films behind us.
