What is this obsession with women's lack of representation in x, y, z?

And yet men's lack of representation in a growing number of fields is somehow never a problem?

Medicine, social care, teaching etc etc. Never a problem that its absolutely dominated by women.

The sexism of the media on this issue is mind blowing in its hypocrisy and blatantly obvious.

I don't want to hear anything more about women's lack of employment in any area until it becomes a two sided conversation that also addresses men's lack of representation in industries in which women dominate.

Good luck with that! It is the age of the angry female... You should be happy you have any job.

I got nothing against the idea of 'more women in film' but whether it's from men or women or Ziggy Stardust - they need to write and direct better films! Most movies made today are unoriginal and unimaginative RUBBISH.

I'd say Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is a brilliant and original movie carried head and shoulders by Frances McDormand. Roma is dazzling, as well. The Rider is apparently pretty good, too.

Not to mention the faux outrage of men claiming to be oppressed and ignored.

'Men being oppressed + ignored', that's bull baloney. The problem is - where are the good flicks? I don't care who or what writes them, it's just year after year it's the same insipid garbage.
