"So @taylorswift13 has every right to be political but it won't impact election unless we allow 13 yr old girls to vote," Huckabee tweeted.

The last laugh may be on Huckabee. Kamari Guthrie of Vote.org told Buzzfeed News that voter registrations have surged since Swift's Instagram post.

Ha! Ha!

I think this administration could benefit greatly from hearing the opinion of a severely mentally ill rapper that has admitted that he no longer takes his medication for bipolar disorder because he doesn’t want to lose his “superpower.” Makes a lot of sense.

So voter registration has surged. I wonder if its because shes annoyed a lot of thinking people by her transparently obvious career posturing and theyre going to vote republican.

"And you saw that the other night with Kanye West," Trump said in a reference to the rapper's "SNL" appearance. "How good was Kanye West?"

Hmm. Thought the dotard didn't watch SNL?

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift's fans are reacting positively. Apart from the alt-right, natch.

I have a lot more respect for Taylor now.

I'mma let you finish

Needs a main verb.

"Let's say that I like Taylor's music about 25 percent less now, okay?" Trump told reporters

As if he had ever heard it.

Celebrity endorsements can backfire but if it's her against those two bozos, I am on her side.

"There's so many times I talk to, like, a white person about this and they say 'How could you like Trump? He's racist.'" said West, who is 41. "If someone inspires me and I connect with them, I don't have to believe in all their policies."

Not convinced Trump is racist anyway.

He has used gross over generalizations and some fairly nasty slander in the past when talking about crime etc, but I don't see any evidence of genuine ill will towards non-whites. What measures has he taken against non-whites based on ethnicity? None. Like most things about Trump, the guy has absolutely no nuance. Often says one thing and does another or does nothing at all.

Matt Hartwell, quite right.

These days everyone does anything for publicity.

This is not news, it's noise.

65,000 registrations within the 24 hours, nah its a bit more than noise, suppose that 65000 more illegal Mexcians Trump can use as an excuse, without any proof to back his claims

"In the past I've been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now,"

plus my sales are declining.” Swift said.

deadbeatlesToday 01:59 am JSTKanye is disliked in the entertainment industry, because in spite of it, he's doing things HIS way, in control of his art. The same vein as Prince. They don't follow 'the formula'.

Prince had TALENT and he was largely self-taught. Kayne is an obnoxious blubbering idiot who loves the limelight and who doesn't know what he's talking about. Obama said he's a 'jackass' and that's correct.

Prince made innovations in the music industry that span genres, generations, trends. That's why when he died ALL radio stations regardless of genre or format on the FM dial in my home city played his music nonstop for the rest of the week.

Kayne is sick and he is Traitortrump's dog.

That's your personal opinion, I'm not a Kanye fan don't listen to his music, but he is without a doubt one of the biggest and most influential rappers of our time and for a lot of millennials, his music, videos and clothing line, art shows, for his peers and his generations followers, he is a genius and does have a lot of influence.

Obama said he's a 'jackass' and that's correct.

With more money then that joker will ever make.

Prince made innovations in the music industry that span genres, generations, trends.

As did Kanye for his genre.

That's why when he died ALL radio stations regardless of genre or format on the FM dial in my home city played his music nonstop for the rest of the week.

Which is normal for any artist when Swift and Kanye go by the wayside, networks will play their music nonstop as well.

Kayne is sick and he is Traitortrump's dog.

Many of us feel the same about Swift....or don't even care...really.
