I, too, salute you, spitfire! Great words, not just in regard to MJ, but in regard to life.

I agree that MJ's talent and his career were amazing. I do not think he was all bad. No one ever is. I do believe that he was most likely a pedophile and I do not believe that automatically puts me in the category of "those who love to hate".

Further, I do not believe that those who think Michael Jackson did no wrong are automatically "non-haters". I don't believe there is a direct correlation between hating and thinking MJ was or was not a pedophile, nor is there a correlation between being tolerant and compassionate and thinking he was or was not a great man. I do believe that some people may use hatred to make their decision, while others direct hatred and anger toward those with a different opinion.

You don't have to be a "hater" to look at the evidence, look at the justice system and come up with a different opinion than the twelve jurors that decided he was innocent. I may be wrong. Only the little boys, similar in sex and age, with whom he slept in the same bed in his mansion full of toys can know for sure...and probably the families who have to help them live thru it.

I can`t believe some people passionately believe this junky , kiddy abuser to be a great moral man. The movie is siugar coated sanitised trash, made purely for profit , NOt to tell the truth.

Wow, Dick, seeing as how (1) he has no criminal drug or child abuse convictions and (2) I never met the man to judge him fairly, I'd always assumed he was a decent guy with tons of talent. A bit nutty of course, but heck he was a millionaire at 10 years old. I'd go nuts too. But with wisdom like yours quoted above, I assume you have more information than the rest of us. So by all means, do tell.

Lol, there are plenty of haters everywhere. They're commonly known as virgin, obese, internet tough guys. Most are closeted shut ins, who don't have lives past their mother's basement. So to make up for their own failure filled lives they go on the internet and push down and make fun of random people to make up for the fact that they have a one inch penis. But remember folks. Internet tough guys are people too!! They provide a great amount of entertainment and they do a great service to society. Like being Outback Steakhouse bus boys, flipping burgers at Burger King, throwing rocks at other rocks, and soaking up welfare like it's air. So salute the obese, acne ridden, pedophilic, closeted internet tough guys! They're fun to laugh at, and they flip our burgers!

I felt hurt to the point of feeling pain in my gut and tears in my eyes at some of the hatred people spew on this and similar threads to the point of wanting to scream. I felt a need to defend a movie which provided me and many others with inspiration to be more passionate in what we do and to be better people in life in general.

Upon some reflection, it dawned on me that people who look for hate will spew hate, that people who appoint themselves the moral police will always judge, that people who are open will always want to learn, that people who have genuine love and kindness in their hearts will look for the same in others and are compassionate to those who are not.

I also remember that it must take a person with profound insight of his surroundings and reflection of himself and passion for life to write poignant songs like Man in the Mirror (as oppose to oh look what YOU haven’t done), Earth Song (as oppose to oh global warming doesn’t exist), and Heal the World (as oppose to judge, hate, discriminate, and character assassinate), all of which were in this movie.

Furthermore, I am comforted by the reality that kindness, courtesy, respect, humility, compassion, love, and caring for other human beings and our environment (all of which I saw and felt from the movie) are divine and timeless qualities which don’t need to be defended, for they speak for themselves.

Peace and blessings to all. I am going to go have a good look in that mirror now.

I've heard that it is quite good. Sure Michael Jackson was eccentric & weird but most creative geniuses are! So what if he did drugs. His music moved and inspired many people. His dancing was completely original and his live performances full of electric energy. I think he is very worthy of this tribute.

I doubt it would offend me as much as watching Whacko and knowing the money will go to fuel his families millionaire lifestyles.

There is talk of a "real" movie release, telling the truth about this seedy little man, who died in a sordid manner yet is feted as some kind of demi God.

How on earth can so many people want to watch rehearsals by a 50 year old bald junky? This whole affair is beyond me!

We all knew it would top the box office. I haven't seen it but I've heard it's a very fitting tribute. Rest in Peace MJ, you made the world a better and more interesting place. For the haters, well that's all you've got is hatred and negativity.

"Saw VI"

Is there going to be a Saw VII? Not that I've seen Saw, Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV or Saw V. I haven't seen any of the Saw movies.

I would celebrate if at least a percentage of the profits went to helping victims of child abuse. The movie is purely to make money, unobjectively and portray Jackson as some kind of god like figure, which as every sane person knows, he certainly was not.

Altria and Stirfry. I'm really tired of negative people and people always judging and trying to put down other people. His life was respected and valued by the world. Even in his death he is more valued than both of you alive! Grow up and maybe you can accomplish something in life too!
