'Three Musketeers' poster used to raise awareness of purse snatchers

"Watch Your Back!" (背後に気をつけよ!).

In collaboration with the National Police Agency, a poster of "The Three Musketeers" film is being used as part of a campaign by the Community Safety Department to raise awareness of purse snatchers. The famous movie, set in 17th century France, revolves around the hero d'Artagnan who struggles to recover the queen's necklace. Louis XIII, his wife Queen Anne, the Duke of Buckingham and the Cardinal Richelieu are all represented as the movie recreates the scandal whereby the queen gave the duke a diamond necklace, which is then stolen by the cardinal.

The poster features D'Artagnan (Logan Lerman) and the three musketeers, along with their enemies the duke (Orlando Bloom) and the spy Milady (Mila Jovovich) with the tag line "They're after you ... watch your back!" to make people aware of the danger of purse snatchers coming up behind them.

The movie will be released on Oct 28.

The famous movie

I believe it was a famous novel (Dumas, 1844) before it became (several) movies - all famous.

Slight correction 4 Books, granted the last 3 books are about the 4 Musketeers. ;)

Have to think the relationship between the "Three Musketeers" and purse snatching seems tenuous. And It seems a bit odd for a film to use a public service anti-crime campaign as a marketing tool. But maybe there's a method to their madness.
