He kept rattlesnake rattles in the guitar. We do that in the Southern USA. It was siad to keep the spirits out of the instruments...

The best flatpicker since Doc Watson, I feel privileged to have seen them both play live in very small venues. Tony also worked with the jazz guitarist John Carlini, w/whom he did some beautiful crossover stuff. Well worth investigating.
