Where were the feminists protesting Polanski before now? They weren’t. Why was that?

It's true that he's got away with his crimes for decades, what with sympathy from Hollywood and other quarters but make no mistake, there have been calls for him to be brought to justice over the years, but they were often drowned out.

Where were the feminists protesting Polanski before now? They weren’t. Why was that?

Again, I think this is a case of generalizing a bit and I think it's ironic to demand answers, especially when some never reply to a question put to them.
