He’s got the money for it, and, that little box on your tax form that says: Do you want to donate a dollar to whatever political party?....people will say YES.

And America sinks further into comedy. Who is to be his vice president, his pet dog or cat?

Maybe this is Trumps plan to dilute the Democrat vote by getting the young and black vote split between West and Biden.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

The comedy continues. Cancelling my Netflix for the next few months.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

well he said mo'fo' on camera in the Whitehouse. Gets my vote.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Few months before the election he throws his name in. Interesting.

If a habitually bankrupt reality TV star can win, then so can Kanye.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I’m good. I only put small money this time as the return isn’t good. Everyone knows Trump is winning this time so it’s boring.

Last election I had money on Trump at 3/1. Despite thinking he is despicable, I thought he was going to win - a correct assessment.

This time I've put my money on Biden at about evens.

I wouldn't put a penny on West, even if the prospect of having a first lady with a sex tape is somewhat amusing.

Trump knew in 2015 he would run against Kanye in 2020:

"I've seen your polls Don - you're toast man

Remember the 2016 polls that had Hillary winning in a landslide? How did that work out? Tee hee!

I'm a bit unclear on this. Is he running as a Democrat, challenging Trump as a Republican, or running as an independent?

The Dems have already chosen Biden unless Hillary steals the nomination at the convention.

Kanye is running as an independent.

Interesting that this article is in the entertainment section

I doubt Mr. West can win the Presidency, he has left his run too late to get his policy positions out there. Stranger things have happened though. He may get 10-15% of of the vote, if he campaigns strongly around the nation and performs well in the debates.

IF West skims conservatively 15% of the African-American vote off Biden, Trump will be returned fairly comfortably this time. Perhaps West and Trump have done a deal, and West will be handed a Ministry after November?

Jimizo: Odds-wise, you should keep an eye on the polls

Like last time?

Oh, yes. Exactly like last time. I was talking about odds lengthening and shortening partly based on polls.

So, exactly like last time and pretty much every time you gamble on any election.

I think you have totally misunderstood what that post was about. Best read and understand before commenting. It helps.

Readers, please stop bickering.

What you really want to say is hes a black man thinking for himself and rejecting the Dem party ( like a lot of blacks this year as you will see) therefore he must be ridiculed and derided.

Erm, no. He’s a narcissist with no political experience. I’m consistent on the idea that these people should not be elected to high office. Black, white, brown, orange, male, female, young, old etc. doesn’t matter. I think Trump is unfit for high office. This has nothing to do with the fact he is old, orange and male. I have no problems with old, orange males in general.

If you can refute my claims that West is a narcissist with no political experience, you might have the ghost of a point.

You put ‘small money’ on short odds but more money on longer odds? That’s a very strange way to gamble. You put more money on a what you regard as a cert when the odds are lower. Boring has nothing to do with winning money.

If you are so sure Trump will win, you should put a load of money on those odds. You’ll more than double your money.

I’ve never met a gambler someone so reticent to more than double his or her money on something they regard as a cert.

Really couldn't do any worse than Trump. Kim would be the first lady, hot!

Yet immediately question the qualifications of a strong Black man for the top job

West is a narcissist with no political experience. The problems with electing a narcissist with no political experience are clear to everyone.

Black, white, brown or orange. It doesn’t matter.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

its all looking up for Trump from now to the finish.

Odds-wise, you should keep an eye on the polls and the amount of cash going on Trump. The 13/8 you said you got seems to be jumping the gun. The sites I checked had Trump’s odds lengthening and I saw 7/4. Maybe you should have waited.

Did you see the odds on Mexico paying for the wall? 12/1. What do you think?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

So why call Kanye’s candidacy a mockery? Why single him out? Im seeing a very ugly double standard here.

-11 ( +5 / -16 )

I suspect that if Kanye were white there wouldnt be all this derision from the “progressive” element.

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

I can ask the same of Biden.

What are his policies? Who would be his VP?

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

He has every right to run.

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

Yes, I think now Joe will go for big Mike as vp.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Yeah. Because this is what we really need right now, in the worst pandemic in a century, and the worst economic crisis in generations. Trying to siphon off the black vote for his buddy Donald? Makes as much sense as anything else.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Kinda ruins the “big reveal” of Biden’s Black VP candidate to show he isn’t a racist, to pander for the Black vote and to make Dems feel virtuous.

now Dems can vote for a Black person directly. I expect they all do.

-12 ( +2 / -14 )

The ad hominems are already flying. We know how the Dems feel abt any black person who thinks for him or herself and ditches the Democratic party.

-11 ( +3 / -14 )

Oh goody, the best soap opera of them all (US presidential electioneering) is back.

Get out the popcorn and the hankies (tears of laughter).

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Any Dem who doesn’t vote for Kanye is”racist”.

Yes indeed.

Rapper Kanye West announces 2020 U.S. presidential bid

And immediately invites Donald Trump as part of the ticket as VP.

"I've seen your polls Don - you're toast man....come be my VP".... "I'll still let you play golf and use the bunker"...

Since 2018, his wife, reality star Kim Kardashian, has formed her own contacts with the White House as she champions criminal justice reform: she has successfully lobbied Trump to pardon a sexagenarian woman for a non-violent drug offense.

Donald Trump, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian - kind of says it all doesn't it.

The answer to the question; what has six legs, fake hair, and a combined IQ of 50...

8 ( +10 / -2 )

May as well give Homer a go. The bar has already been set low.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

-13 ( +8 / -21 )

the blackvore for Trump this year is going to be surprisingly big anyway. And with Kanye siphoning off some of whats left of what Biden considers to be Joe’s “black vote by right” Id say old Joe right now is feeling mighty worried.

-13 ( +4 / -17 )

Only in America! Trump will be unhappy he invited Kanye to the White House. Anyway, all this is another reason Biden will win!

6 ( +9 / -3 )

If he wins, I hope someone goes up on stage and interrupts his inauguration to say that Beyonce should have won.

18 ( +19 / -1 )

Kanye helps Trump 2020 then gets a VP spot with Pence in 2024. Good job.

-9 ( +5 / -14 )

Who?

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Mr. Kipling knows what’s up!

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Fantastic move by Trump..... Gets his rapper pal to split the black vote and win.

Its a funny old world....

2 ( +8 / -6 )

For weeks now Trump................... has been lagging in the polls behind his Democratic rival, Joe Biden.

Isnt this the same line they gave about Hillary.

Which Polls the ones run by the dems ? Or CNN or ?

Fake News.

-14 ( +4 / -18 )

West's meeting with Trump was so hideously cringeworthy I could barely watch. Maybe he should save his money and get some counselling instead.

9 ( +15 / -6 )

Sorry, I can’t America today.

14 ( +17 / -3 )

The West Wing! Nice one.

In any other aeroplane, letting the worst people sit in the pilot’s seat and control the flight would be unthinkable. In this plane the worst of the worst are lining to have a go. Unbecredible.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

So basically, swapping a white Trump for a black one. Interesting...

15 ( +20 / -5 )

His name's written on it already - the West Wing.

17 ( +17 / -0 )

I reckon he’s just trying to sway the result right. Hopefully people can see through it.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

“You ain’t black unless you vote for me!” - Joe Biden,

today; ”dammit”- Joe Biden

-2 ( +15 / -17 )

Well, he rivals Trump in terms of insecurities, bullying others, stealing the mic and trying to steal the show, victimization of everything, making it all about him, claiming to be a stable genius, and suffering from mental difficulties. He'd actually be a better president than Trump because where he's alike in the aforementioned, he differs from Trump wherein the latter is obese, old, and senile on top of the above.

11 ( +21 / -10 )

I wouldn't be surprised if Eminem, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent run for political positions in the coming elections too.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

Is he forming a new political party? I wonder what its name will be.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Just when you think America couldn't get any closer to a real life version of Idiocracy....

29 ( +35 / -6 )

Snoop Dogg gets my vote.

33 ( +38 / -5 )

If Donald Tramp can become POTUS why not another narcissist like Kanye.

24 ( +34 / -10 )

Lol.

America can't sink any lower than Trump, so sure, why not?

21 ( +31 / -10 )

I can imagine this will conflict a few loyalties among the more binary minded.

6 ( +10 / -4 )

Why not? Clearly it's an office that pretty much any old chump can occupy these days....
