I am very disappointed in Trump lack of real aggression. He could easy put the boots into Taylor the entertainer come political analysis. What a great man Elon is, allowing some idiot to use his platform which the left are dead set against. Allowing Harris lap dog and what does he come up with "small man". Gees is that his best. For a small man there not a person on this planet that don't know of Trump. Like I am a left vote and I know Trump is not small but huge Haemorrhoid to the left to the extant that every week they are trying hard to put a few rounds into him.

Trump is such a big baby. Using his platform to hate on a celebrity just because she endorsed the other candidate is hugely petty. If he can't stand on his own two feet and get elected on his own merit, he should just stand down right now. I can't express just how incredibly not normal it is for a so-called "presidential" candidate to behave the way he has behaved.

What would you expect out of this sassymouth anyway? He hates everybody and everything he can't control, maybe even himself. Nyah-nyah-nyah.

You know Donnie, TS doesn't like you either. In fact probably nobody does, not even your master Vlad. Just shut up and go away.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

So he is not allowed to hate her now? What is next --- obligatory love for pop celebrities?

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Everyone has a right to opinions. He can hate anyone he wants. I'm sure most of us can care less these days.

Kyo Hiromitsu-

There was a time when Singers didnt get into Politics, it should stay that way, they know nothing about politics, they only know about overdose and bad sleep.

When exactly was that time Kyo? Politics and music have been intertwined for centuries, esp in the US.

From the Civil war era to the Great Depression and Civil Rights movements - who couldn't be impacted by Billlie Holiday's " Strange Fruit" - to the Folk movement with Guthrie, Seeger, Baez, Dylan and onto the Vietnam War with Rock, Punk, Hip Hop, Rap, Metal, Pop et al being used to convey political messages.

Rage against the Machines blistering song "Wake Up" tells it all.

And aside from all of that - Taylor Swift, not only as a citizen of the US, ie a human being, has every right to express her opinion

https://thehill.com/homenews/4881812-taylor-swift-endorsement-little-impact/?tbref=hp

About 81 percent of voters surveyed in the ABC News/Ipsos poll said Swift’s support for Vice President Harris will not influence how they vote. Just 6 percent of respondents said they are more likely to vote for Harris after Swift’s nod, while 13 percent said it makes them less likely to back the Democratic ticket.

Yeah does that include MAGAs whose whole existence is based on trolling?

But I'm not running for the Presidency so it's all good.

With Trump it means he actually secretly loves her.

Trump will probably try to ban certain kinds of music.

Why dont you go deeper into that comment and explain it better.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Like Kid Rock? Music goes wherever it wants. And if you try to stop it going there, it goes there anyway. You can try and cancel it but you can't.

They could have done it but nobody would care about it. to the point that it was hard to find their "Opinions" unless you were deep into these people.

Politicians shouldn't get into music.

Yeah, liberals focus on Swift and abortion and Trump will focus on the US and the economy. Lol

Seems Trump is focusing on Swift. Lol indeed.

There was a time when Singers didnt get into Politics, it should stay that way, they know nothing about politics, they only know about overdose and bad sleep.

When was that time exactly? And why would singers, actors etc. be less informed about politics than let's say doctors, plumbers and businessmen?

7 ( +9 / -2 )

no just registering to vote, 500k so far.

People that are registering to the democrats just because he doesnt like Taylorswift were going to vote for her anyways. And thats why I would support that nobody under 25-30 and over 70 could vote as they still have many things to settle with their decisions.

Trump is an old man, but he talks more than he should, it would do well to him to talk less. But anyways thats his thing.

At the end of the day Kamala is just Biden.

Not impressive behavior for someone who would be President.

Is he focusing on the economy or is he playing golf and tweeting about Taylor Swift?

He's not President yet and thanks to the technology we have today, you can be active on the go. Interesting nugget. Libs are equally glued to their devices as Trump is, because the moment he mentions anything, the left knows, the WH knows, the Dems knows and the LSM knows.

It appears, you also know. Following everyone around.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Good post, socrateos, and very true. I was just listening to an expert on narcissists and psychopaths on Jordan Peterson and he said such people would probably have met with 'an accident' out hunting with others in hunter-gatherer days. They were just too unbearable and untrustworthy. Now Trump survives mainly because the world has become a haven for such people, especially with social media, and there are plenty of acolytes and wannabes.

Is it really, I mean really?

Yeah, criticizing Taylor Swift is Trump's level. That is the level he can handle. Just a note, I love Taylor!

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Trump is a mindless mentalist but then again so is anyone who votes on the advice of a singer.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

The manchild still can't get over being beaten by a girl. Boo hoo!

I think libs need to recycle that statement to get some sort of emotional validation from that. Yeah, liberals focus on Swift and abortion and Trump will focus on the US and the economy. Lol

-15 ( +0 / -15 )

Why is this news? For one thing, Taylor Swift endorsed the Democratic presidential candidate in 2020, Joe Biden. For another, the Swifties, her demographic, are too young to vote.

He liked her plenty last month when he was posting fake AI and accepting her endorsement.

And? We all change our minds on various occasions, no crime or rule against it.

Then he got his fragile little ego bruised.

Doubt it.

He’ll be whining about this well into the next decade.

He should, I would do as well if I were wrongly targeted for slanderous and outrageous political enemy targeted

It’s 2024 and he still talks about Rosie o’ Donnel at his rallies.

Hillary talks about 2016 and she's not over it and Trump's jokes about Rosie are really funny.

-18 ( +0 / -18 )

American politics is a joke.

sadly! He has been smart to tap into the dumb voters, the voters who will vote for their team no matter what, and tap into the right and far right, motivate them to vote and actually have virtual neck and neck race. And when it comes down to the day, they only need a few thousand votes to flip the electoral college. Not the majority! Now that’s a the real joke!!!! Only it isn’t funny!

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Does this whiny little crybaby ever stop bleating about himself?

I will never understand how anyone could think he has the temperament to be POTUS.

11 ( +13 / -2 )

dising is one thing, defamation or lies about somebody will cost you in court.

Yes, Trump is gearing up for his own counter-lawsuits.

EJ Caroll will show you that, 60million extra it cost Trump for his lies about her, funny enough he hasnt said anything since. LOL

He doesn't need to, that's his lawyer's job, but anyway, she won't get anything this year for sure.

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

Trump can dis the woman if he wants it's a free country and that is the great thing about America

Despite all the news I read about her, I still don’t know anything about Taylor except that she is extremely successful. Listening to some of her songs is now on my to-do list.

And his latest cupcake Laura Loomer - she's American...

Perhaps American. And a childless cat lady. And most definitely one of the youngest Stepford wives.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

At the end of the day, Swift can endorse anyone she wants and Trump can dis the woman if he wants it's a free country and that is the great thing about America, they both can say what they want about each other and they can both hate each other. At the end of the day, it won't make that much of a difference because being a Swiftie doesn't mean you have to support her or her political beliefs. Each to his own.

-15 ( +1 / -16 )

Republicans will spread any false information because of their desperation for power.

They don't need to the Senate looks like a loss for the Democrats

Trump hopes Taylor Swift receives some kind of financial punishment after the press Taylor Swift has been receiving is what she is wearing to the football games.

I don't think he cares, he just said what he thought of her and that's it.

Mahommes's wife is now in hiding after the quarterback stepped up to tell everyone to leave his wife out of it. He also did not endorse Trump.

And?

Trump's followers also attempted another fake assassination to help him win!

Can you prove that? Now this is what causes people to fly off. So before the left get caught with their pants down again and running their mouths, just show us where you read this.

Not a great reflection on hard-working American citizens.

Trump is such a big baby. Using his platform to hate on a celebrity just because she endorsed the other candidate is hugely petty.

Well, celebs use their platform to hate on Trump, so not getting it, what is the problem?

If he can't stand on his own two feet and get elected on his own merit, he should just stand down right now.

I can't express just how incredibly not normal it is for a so-called "presidential" candidate to behave the way he has behaved.

He understands that people neither like nor respect him. This is why he constantly tells himself how great, successful, and perfect he is. Any other opinions, he convinces himself, are fake. Accepting failure is not an option for him. Delusion is the olny way for him to avoid self-destruction. As a result, though he may speak on many topics, the underlying message is always the same: "Please love me!" When he says he hates Taylor Swift, what he truly means is, "Please love me!"

A poor man. A sick man. A very very sick man.

11 ( +13 / -2 )

which is a shame, **but it's not enough to make a difference because that number is low compared to the number of fans who can't vote because of their age.**

500k Swifties have registered to vote so far since her endorsement, with Trumps attack itll likely become even more. elections are decided by the 1000s of votes.

Swift has 220million followers around 80million of those in the US, 18-30yr range makes up around 30million. around 77% of Swifties are democrat or Independents.

(I would just like to add that—) Donald's post can be seen as a typical reaction from a hard–working American citizen who pays too much for groceries, gas and other basic needs. Of course this wasn't presidential, but it's just a reflection of the anger that American workers feel today and that's why so many people identify with Trump; ( Contrary to what Taylor Swift and some of her fans believe, she does not speak for the majority of Americans )

Either way, I don't think this will have an impact on the outcome of the election—I forgot to mention in my previous post that there are a lot of Taylor Swift fans who will (still) vote for Trump, and again, a lot of voters have decided who they will vote for based on Taylor's endorsement, which is a shame, but it's not enough to make a difference because that number is low compared to the number of fans who can't vote because of their age.

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

It's extremely sad that a supposedly grown man, let alone a presidential candidate, posts something like this. He was so desperate for Swift to endorse him that he and his team even had to fake it. Really not sure why there should be any hate towards who Swift endorsed. Actually she stated her position like an adult. She voiced who she was going to support and gave her reasons. If anyone chose to pay attention to her endorsement, nowhere in it did she encourage her followers to make the same choice. She told them to do research, be informed, register to vote and make their own choice. A world of difference between class and classless.

Also, he decided to create merchandise using her copyrighted material when she would not give him her endorsement.

What a classless weird old man!

13 ( +15 / -2 )

What we are seeing in Trump's comments about Swift is his pettiness, his vindictiveness, his effort to intimidate people, and how dangerous he really is. He is trying to hurt Swift financially because he knows that some (he hopes many) of his supporters will stop buying Swift's music as a result of his attacks on her. He is also intimidating other celebrities that don't support him by showing them that he can hurt them financially. Unfortunately when you are dealing with a cult of about 74 Million people, the cult leader yields significant power which can not be ignored. This is a malevolent man who yields significant unchecked power. We cannot allow this man in the Whitehouse again.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

Truth Social has few subscribers, so Trump's comments are not going to be seen by very many!

But has/is being reported world wide for millions upon millions to see - and chuckle big time.

About as unfit as the leader of the free world as one could imagine - lacking credentials in all departments except ego and braggadocio.

Hm, it was definitely not a good idea, but I get it...

It doesn't matter what the reasons are, it was an incredibly childish and petty thing to do. No one who wants to be leader of a country says something like that about about one of its most successful entertainers ever, no matter what her politics are.

“ Republican U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump on Sunday leveled an attack against Taylor Swift, declaring his "hate" for her just days after the pop mega-star endorsed his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris.

In an all-caps posting on his Truth Social media account, Trump wrote, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" “

Hm, it was definitely not a good idea, but I get it—the whole idea of Taylor Swift, one of the richest women in the world, endorsing a candidate who has been doing a terrible job as vice president (and who would leave millions of Americans still struggling to make ends meet) is hard to accept, plus the fact that thousands (or millions) of voters will vote for Kamala just because of Taylor Swift's endorsement is ridiculous;

but this post was a mistake—I read something interesting the other day—Taylor’s endorsement could actually hurt Kamala (people usually only pay attention to one side of the story, but if you look at the whole picture:), a) there are millions of people who don't like Taylor Swift (even those who don't care about her didn’t like hearing about it) and b) a huge number of Taylor Swift fans are too young to vote.

-19 ( +1 / -20 )
