Ex-major leaguer and TV personality Tsuyoshi Shinjo, 37, who attended the opening ceremony for Hollywood Air Tokyo airbrush makeup studio's new building in Shibuya's Jingumae this week, said he plans to branch out into movie production beginning in August, but "can't really go into the details right now."
For the past year, Shinjo has been involved in creating airbrush paintings, as well as new techniques for airbrush makeup. Airbrush makeup is currently the hot thing in Hollywood, and Shinjo said he is working on projects to help spread the craze in Japan.

Not an ounce of believable story here

Everything in Japan apparently has "ranks", no doubt measured by age, too. Let's see what he produces and then talk about it. Not sure why this is really a story, but then Japan is obsessed with and saturated by "talents" of all types.

Moving up the ranks??? doubt it. He has the money to finance films so they tag him with "producer". Simple. Another role a producer does is to attract talent. Shinjo has a heap of contacts no doubt so that shouldn't be a real problem.
