A patriotic act. Well done. Victory to Ukraine.

At this point nothing else could be expected, the Orchestra has obviously expressed very strongly their support for the defense of Ukraine and winning the Eurovision let them be in the center of attention and help this purpose, the auction of the trophy is valuable then not only for the money collected but also for the free exposure they (and their efforts) are getting in the media.

With articles like this even people without interst on the Eurovision will know who won and what cause they are supporting.

A historical moment and gesture for sure. They're putting their money where it counts. That makes them truly CHAMPS in more ways than one.
