There were so many viewing parties

Like the Avengers Endgame treatment, people don't want to be spoiled at all costs
Some would say HBO sucks at endings, like the Sopranos (lol, fight me!)
Joe Blow
I only saw the very first episode.
Sean Bean was good in it, and the whole concept with the Wall and the frozen north where demons dwell was pretty cool (like a Norwegian black metal album).
Almost everything else was meh, and the barbarian characters were corny as hell. Overall, the whole thing felt very cheesy.

Good show. The last episode was anticlimactic but I don’t know how they could have done any differently.

Thank you for sharing that.

The ending sucked. Big time.

Hehe, I am always amused how seriously some entertainment news is taken. It's entertainment. Some people will love it, some will hate it. But is it news? I guess for some it is. But then, for me personally, sport news is also a big yawn. So many more important things going on in the world.

Haha you beat me to it. I saw a meme just this morning that showed a woman chasing down an ice cream truck and when she finally catches it and is asked what she wants to buy, she says 'Nothing. I just wanted to tell you that I don't watch Game of Thrones.' :-)

Pretty decent ending. I'm sad it is over.

Was that a subtle advocation of Scottish independence, or was I reading too much into the story about the Northern Kingdom?
No matter, the bit I enjoyed most was the in-joke about the Song of Ice and Fire book.

Can't stand all the headlines about GOT with the words "spoiler alert." Worse are the ones without them. And they sneak up on you. Like I'll be scrolling through the news and, arghh!
How can you unread something?
Strangerland
I enjoyed it. I felt it was a good ending. If the books ever do come out, I'll enjoy reading them, but overall I feel there's finally been a conclusion, and one I quite enjoyed.
Productive comment bro. Really adds to the conversation.

With a headline like that, you should have been a bit more cautious...
@JonathanJo
You wouldn't be wrong, the history of Scottish independence inspired a lot of the story.
