Smart Move, Facebook must be held accountable for it's lack of concerns over social and privacy issues. I hope that more and more subscribers freeze their acct's until Facebook steps up to the plate and act responsibly.

Means absolutely nothing. She should just delete it forever.

Don't let the Internet door hit you on the way out.

"Misinformation shared on social media has a serious impact on our elections and undermines our democracy,"

But censorship and reduced freedom of speech helps democracy? Maybe she should read Orwell. Or get Kanye to read it for her.

Not a huge FB user and don't have Instagram so not really aware of all the "hate" on those platforms.  Is it real?  Aren't celebs like KK a big factor in all the "haters hating"?

That's a great ideas!all celebrities should freeze their accounts because all they do is spread misinformation and hate and have no idea what they are talking about or what cause they support. They just need sucker fans to obey.

Twitter just banned a recognized Chinese scientist/whistleblower who worked in the Wuhan lab and escaped to the west. She states the virus was man-made. Despite her obvious credibility, Twitter closed her account. This is what rules against "hate speech" end up doing - keeping everyone in ignorance.

Who cares she is a talentless nobody.

commanteer, was not aware twitter had done so. Disgraceful, whether you agree with her or not. I have not tended to think the virus man made but on a brief read of her paper (if it’s the same person and I am not getting confused) then it seems on first glance quite persuasive.

Another celeb famous for being famous. Not interested.

I don't know if she is right or not either, but remains that they are hiding essential information from the public. They (whoever "they" are at Twitter) are deciding what information we are allowed to have. That's not the kind of world I want to live in

Just imagine how blissful it'd be if all the celebrities froze their social media accounts. One can only dream.

FB needs to be more responsible, they've been letting hate groups spout their crap for too long. And Dirtbag Don has been penalized by Twitter for misusing it to further lies, hate and violence.

Liberty ends on another person's nose. And Trump is irresponsible, all he does is invoke violence - an act unbecoming the head of a civilized nation. People need to be more responsible and stop acting like 7 year olds on a playground. Nobody ever told Treasontrump that and look at the mess we're in now!
