Next 'Fast & Furious' movie delayed until June

Enough already !

This franchise started out as a group of crims who drove fast cars (cool).

Now they’re all black ops commandos jumping out of planes & destroying nuclear submarines (way over the top & totally unbelievable)

Tokyo Drift was cool.

Ridiculous, but cool.

Despite all the posturing and protestation against ‘racism’, ’sexism’, ‘exploitation’, etc., it’s disappointing to read an endorsement for a film that basically promotes all of the aforementioned. The majority of Japanese actors are sidelined. Ethnic females remained speechless or muted but hyper-sexulaized while the ethnic males were portrayed as ‘bullies’ and cast mainly in roles as ‘gangsters’. All the main cast parts were parceled out to a Caucasian lead and Korean American as the ‘mentor’ The only prominent Japanese cast member was Sonny Chiba as the ‘wise grandfather’ trope Kitagawa Keiko as a race ‘groupie’.

Anyone disappointed by the delay in the release of the new movie can just watch any of the previous ones...

The plot and action is the SAME!
